I have texted more today
Than I have in years
And trust me it feels odd,
The habit of checking my phone constantly
Not wanting to leave her unanswered,
The feeling in the pit of my stomach is new too
The what if she doesn't like me
Or fear that I annoy her with all my questions,
She has been so nice
And I am now contemplating
When the best time to shoot my shot is,
I don't want to wait to long
In fear of just becoming friends
But to ask too soon means scaring her away,
I need some kind of guide book called:
‘How to Flirt With a Girl Online During a Pandemic’
I don't think it exists
Too bad really could be useful.
