Protesting is in my soul,
I tried to stay at home for my lungs
But I couldn't do it,
So I took to the sidewalks with everyone
In our town we are peaceful,
Not that I blame the rioters
I sympathize with their anger,
So if you must riot do so
Stay safe but be loud
And if you want to do it peacefully
Hope for the best prepare for the worst,
Do not be silenced
They can take everything from you
So do not let them have your voice.
