Brunch at a restaurant,
It doesn't seem like much
But we ate it there
Sure, it was on the patio
Away from everyone else
But we did it,
And I feel like we broke the rules
And in a way we did,
We are still being safe
I stay home for the most part
And I wear a mask when out,
I haven't asked to see friends
No matter how much I miss them
And I’m trying to be smart,
But it felt nice to break the rules
No matter how dumb it was
Hopefully, nothing bad comes from it.
