At the age of 13-14 Hope and Josie had crushes on each other but they kept it a secret, and admired each other from afar. Eventually they both moved on without the other ever knowing they had a thing for each other. Hope and Lizzie never liked each other and they made the obvious but three years later they developed a hate love relationship, they were mean to each other and acted as if they hated each other when in reality they were crushing hard on each other and they never let anyone know because why would they want anyone to know they had fallen for the person they despised the most? One year later Hope had officially moved on from the Saltzman twins and is in a happy and healthy relationship with the Landon the new human boy at school.

Further Description/Clarification
This au takes place in season 1 of Legacies. Everything is basically the same but also very different. It begins after Landon and Rafael came to the school. There's no Malivore or monsters and Landon is just human. Penelope is at the school. Kai is in the prison world and the twins don't know about him yet. There's no Ethan, Maya, Sebastian, Alyssa, Jade, Wendy, or that werewolf dude. It's basically just a slow burn, love square? I'd say triangle but It's Hope, Landon, Lizzie, and Josie so.. anyways Caroline is also at the school.
