Hope and Landon sat quietly on the wooden dock, looking out into the lake, neither one had said a word since they had finished and failed every test just a few short hours ago. Landon was one hundred percent human. And both of them were terrified that he would get kicked out.

"You know, growing up in the foster system.. Every time I got sent someplace new, I'd hope that this would be the right place. Like a uh 'click your heels three times,' 'no place like home' kind of stuff." Landon finally spoke quietly almost to himself but Hope still heard him, she slowly looked towards him gesturing that she's listening

He continued, "Just somewhere I actually belonged. But it never was. You know, and you can only hold out hope for so long and- and be hurt by so many people before it seems impossible to trust someone new." he said his voice cracking at the end

Hope sighed sadly, reaching her hand towards him and placing it softly over his

"If this goes the wrong way, can you just make sure Raf doesn't follow me? As much as I want to stay here, he needs to. He finally found a home he deserves. I'm not going to take that away from him." Hope nodded looking away as Landon stood up and left to take a walk around school, possibly for the last time.

"Remember the game plan, Raf." Lizzie said

"Yo, relax I got this." Rafael said stepping back preparing for the whistle to blow

As the whistle finally blew Rafael ran forward, kicking the football in the air, as Connor caught it and began to run

Connor threw the ball to Dana as she caught it running past Mg knocking him down, as he looked up at Lizzie giving her a thumbs up and a cheeky smile, causing Lizzie to roll her eyes.

Connor then walked up behind Rafael shoved him to the ground, laughing as he walked off. Rafael finding it very hard not to beat him to a pulp as well. The whistle then blew

"Nice moves, Dana." Lizzie said walking up to her

"I know I'm supposed to do this in the end zone, but.." Dana then threw the football she had in her hand to the ground in front of her, as she walking away chuckling to herself

Josie quickly ran up to Lizzie, "That went well, all things considered." Josie said as she pulled a leaf out of her spacebuns

Lizzie ignored her, "One word."

"One word and I can burn her perky little boobs to ash." Lizzie said annoyed

Josie stopped her, "Hey, but we're not gonna do that today. Today of all days, right?" Josie asked worried, as Lizzie rolled her eyes sighing, as she walked away annoyed at her inability to cheat and use magic to crush the Mystic Falls Timberwolves

Mg quickly jogged up to Penelope, who happened to be the water carrier, "For the record, the nerdling approach never got any dude anywhere." Penelope said handing Mg a water

He grabbed the water from her hand, "Okay, you're lucky that I'm still talking to you after that stunt you pulled with Josie a few days ago." He said as he took a sip of his water

"That's not really your business."

"No, you were taking a shot at Josie, and when someone other than Lizzie takes a shot at Josie, they tend to wake up with scabies. You've ever had scabies before? They're nasty."

"Look is it Josie or Lizzie you're really worried about?" Penelope asked, putting her hand on her hip

"What are you talking about?"

Penelope rolled her eyes "Look Mg, I'm not blind. If Lizzie Saltzman is what you want, I can help you get her. But you're going to have to do exactly what I say." she finished with an innocent smile

"What's in it for you?" Mg asked

"Does a girl have to have a motive to do charity work?" She asked, as she took Mg's water bottle

"Next play, impress me." She said pointing out at the field, as Mg walked away confused

Dorian then clapped his hands together, "All right, way to go, Stallions. Let's keep it up."

Landon walked around a bit, avoided the football field where the game was taking place before running into a bruised and very pissed off Jed

"Oh hey Jed." Landon said slowly and awkwardly

"You don't belong here." He mumbled eerily calm

"Yea. everyone keeps saying that." He responded, getting a little uneasy as Jed stared at him intensely, anger seeping out of him.

"Everything was fine before you and Rafael showed up." Jed said balling his fists and walking towards Landon

"Wait, Wait!" Landon said just before Jed threw him on the ground and punched him straight in the jaw, blood immediately pooling out of his mouth. Jed then kicked him in the back before grabbing his blue flannel shirt and punching him in the face again. Landon fell down once again, even more blood coming out of his mouth and forehead, Jed kicked him one final time flipping him over face up as he coughed up some more blood, before he walked off, leaving Landon alone to bleed on the ground.

The Salvatore Stallions were all huddled up, "All right I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how proud I am. You're all doing a great job." Lizzie said to the team

Rafael looked at Lizzie as if she was crazy, "We're getting out asses kicked."

"Which means we're doing a great job." Josie added with a smile

Mg squeezed between Rafael and Josie, "What's the play?"

"Same one as always. Run around, make it look like you know what you're doing, then fail. On three." Lizzie replied as the group clapped and disbanded

Rafael sighed annoyed

"White 80! Set! Hut!"

Josie threw the ball to Lizzie from under, as Lizzie grabbed it and prepared to throw it out to Mg just as Dana tackled her down

Mg caught it in the air and sprinted landing a touchdown, as the whistle blew.

Penelope smirked from the stands as Mg ran up to Rafael dabbing each other up. Lizzie quickly ran up to him, "Mg, what the hell do you think you're doing?"

"Pretty obvious, isn't it? He's saving your ass. Nice hands." Dana said as she walked by them, Mg checking her out as she walked away and Lizzie looking at him with her mouth open shocked, before scoffing at him and walking off. Mg immediately regretting checking Dana out.
