Standing by the podium Dr Saltzman began his announcement, "Due to the upcoming storm all school activities have been postponed."

And like clockwork all the students started groaning annoyingly, obviously upset about the annual football game against the mystic falls timberwolves being postponed.

I don't get why they're so upset about it, they always lose anyways.

The rest of the assembly consisted of Dr. Saltzman going over the extra set of rules applied to when there's a storm and of him announcing the new dates for the activities that were postponed. Basically just wasting more time.

As Hope entered her first period class her phone vibrated in her pocket. She unlocked her phone and clicked on the notification.

Sighing Hope put her phone back in her pocket and sat at her favorite spot, the back far corner. She preferred to be alone, that way she'd get hurt less but with Landon she just couldn't help but open up to him. Maybe it was because he's a normal guy and his biggest problems were trashy foster homes and hers were.. Well complicated to say the least.

Snapping out of her thoughts Hope looked around the room to see Penelope and her little group of fellow witches whispering and laughing in the opposite corner from where she was sitting. And in the front Josie was talking to Lizzie who was obviously not listening since she was scrolling through her phone. Landon wasn't in this class, he wouldn't be seen anywhere near an honors spell class.

Although Landon was human he was still immune to compulsion which basically convinced Dr Saltzman that he was supernatural although everyone else doubts it, but it gave him a reason to stay.

"This stupid storm is ruining everything, how am I supposed to stick it to those townies if we can't see the stupid townies! This is so not okay." Lizzie said out of the blue, putting her phone down on the desk.

She must've seen Dana's tweet where she said she was disappointed that she has to wait a week longer to beat us.. again.

"How the hell did you plan on sticking it to those 'townies' if you continuously lose? If anything they're sticking it to you.. repeatedly." Penelope replied using air quotes around the word townies

"Was I talking to you, evil one?"

"You might as well have by the way you suddenly announced that you hated the 'stupid storm!'"

"Guys, just stop. This is ridiculous." Josie said, getting frustrated with her ex and her twin's back and forth banter

"If I continue should I expect even more of my hair to be burned off, or will you just burn me whole?" Penelope said looking at her ex with an innocent smile, referring to last week when Josie used a spell to light Penelope's hair on fire out of anger and jealousy, after the secret party at the old mill.

I do wonder why they broke up so out of the blue when they seemed so happy together, always smiling and laughing.

"I.. that was an accident I swear!" Josie stuttered, as a blush crept up her cheeks, she knew she was caught

The rest of the witches in the class pretended to mind their own business but I knew they were listening.. Witches are huge gossipers.

Penelope smirked, "Oh I bet!"

"Well that explains the goo I threw up last night." Lizzie said to herself, "Nice job Jo" she whispered to her sister, who was sitting right next to her

Josie looked down embarrassed to have been caught for using dark magic to burn someone she still cares about deeply, despite breaking up short few months ago.

"I forgive you Jojo, I was planning on getting a haircut anyways. Despite that being the most painful haircut i've ever experienced, it still got the job done right? Besides, I can definitely rock a lob." Penelope said flipping her hair forward and smiling mischievously

I should probably stop eavesdropping on the flirt session going on but there was nothing better to do, since Emma was running late.

"Can you stop acting all cute, your act doesn't work on anyone." Lizzie said annoyed

Penelope spoke counting down with her fingers for emphasis, "Well.. for one, I'm not acting, I am cute. For two, I can't stop a personality trait and for three, it works on everyone and as I recall it worked on your sister just a few months ago. Isn't that right Jojo?" Penelope said smiling sweetly at Josie with her eyes sparkling

Josie snapped, "To some of us, Penelope relationships aren't just a pass time. They're real and meaningful, congratulations we dated and then you broke my heart, what was it for? Did you need to prove something to yourself? What was the point? If it was really, real then why don't you seem the least bit as heartbroken as I do? If you didn't really want to end it then why do you keep looking at me like you still want me? Why do you still flirt with me as if we were still together? It doesn't make sense, so either you stop or you tell me that you want me the way that can't help but still want you." By the end, Josie was no longer angry she was quietly pleading to Penelope to either fight for her or finally let her go

Penelope's feelings for Josie never left, she quite obviously didn't want to break up with Josie but she needed to, for her own good.

Penelope looked at Josie as if her heart had just been torn out of her chest before turning her gaze at Lizzie, then taking a small glance at the ground, and finally back at Josie, her heartbroken expression completely gone, now looking as if she didn't have a care in the world.

"Oh Jojo, you always did have a flare for the dramatics. I liked you, I really did but then I just got tired of your consistent co-dependency for Lizzie and I decided I didn't want to deal with it anymore. No hard feelings.. Though right?" Penelope responded with mock sympathy

Josie looked down at her lap and started playing with her fingers, embarrassed to have announced to the entire class and her ex that she still had feelings for her, only to be rejected by the same girl who dumped her a few months prior.

"I mean full offense when I say this, but you're the bitchiest witch I have ever landed across and that's saying a lot since Alyssa Chang is in the classroom down the hall. And I reaaaally wish that you would just leave this school so that Josie and I never have to see your evil bitchiness again!" Lizzie yelled standing up just as Emma finally walked through the door to start class

"Am I interrupting?" Emma asked confused
