Frost and his team head to Forever Fall forest for a field trip, Goodwitch took team Coffee, CRDL, RWBY and ShadowMosses Jaune on the other hand was acting...off. Upon reaching Forever Falls Goodwitch leads the way "Yes students, the Forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peaches asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest. And I am here to make sure non of you die while doing so." Jaune bumps into Seifer who him and Frost glare at him. Jaune casually whistles before nervously laughing 'What an idiot, how does he even fight off Grimm on his own. I'd hate to see him fight against Cerberus.' Frost and Seifer look forward so Goodwitch can continue instructing "Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap. However this forest is full of the creatures of Grimm. So be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here at four o'clock. Have fun."
Frost heads off with Coco and Squall the trio find a good enough spot "So how are we suppose to collect this 'sap'?" Squall shakes his head "I was about to ask you that." Frost unsheathes his Yamato Coco puts her arm in front of him "C'mon Frost is brute force all you know?" Frost casually scoffs "No, my brother Desmond is the one with brute force, I take it slow and easy if I'm facing someone worthy." Frost sheaths his Yamato Coco tears off a chunk of tree bark, she lowers her shades as she faces Frost "See, no weapons needed." a half an hour passes and the trio are the first ones done. Frost gets impatient the young man lets out an annoyed grunt "I'm going for a walk." Frost turns around to see Coco passed out under a tree Squall nods, Frost walks off in the distance. Frost makes it to a clearing to where he sees Jaune and team CRDL Frost begins to walk up to them, Jaune shrieks team CRDL turns around. Frost hears wings flapping he turns around but it's too late for him to react, Frost is punched by Beowulf Th Light Beast. Frost is sent through a few trees and slams into a tree that Weiss was at. Zell screams as a reaction Seifer runs over as Sky Lark ran away from the scene "Monster! Huge monster!" Seifer grabs Sky's arm "Where!?" "Back there it has Cardin." Frost attempts to get up but falls back down "Agh fuck!" Frost gets back up but stumbles around, Weiss catches him before he falls again "I think you should sit this one out." Weiss sets Frost against a tree "That thing is Beowulf The Light Beast. I'll...catch up with you in a bit." Weiss shakes her head Seifer and Zell run off with Weiss following moments after.
Frost takes a Phoenix Feather from his coat and absorbs it, once he's healed he follows the broken trees where he finds his Yamato on the ground. Frost makes it back to his last location the Beowulf sees him while he fights off Seifer and Squall "I see that the son of Sparda still lives, we will meet again soon!" the Beowulf flies off Frost turns around to see Jaune fighting an Ursa. Frost walks up beside Zell Pyrrha sees Frost gripping for the handle of his Yamato "Don't, let him do this one." Frost scoffs the young man sees Jaune's shield glow a bit and decapitate the Ursa. Frost is left stunned at what he saw "Impossible...w-what form of power does he posses?" Yang smirks at Frost upon hearing him "Did the unbreakable Frost just stutter?" "Humph." Frost walks away Frost regroups with Coco "So, i heard you had your ass handed to you." Frost slowly looks at Coco with a disinterested expression "Oh i forgot to laugh, ha, ha, ha." "Speaking of which what was that creature?" "That was Beowulf The Light Beast, Sparda killed many of his kind and now he's hunting down the sons of Sparda." Frost examines the leaves blowing across the forest floor
(8 months ago) Frost was at the Amity Colosseum in Atlas participating in the Tournament of Power Dr. Oobleck introduces the last combatants "It's time for the last two combatants the new blood Frost Oakenshield Vs the Pyrrha Nikos and the mysterious Shika." Frost is about to head down until a student from Haven grabs his arm "Be careful i heard Shika can see someone's next move before they can even react." "I'll keep that in mind." Frost takes his position as the battlefield changes to an Urban, ice and Savannah biome.
(Frost Oakenshield Vs Pyrrha Nikos and Shika)
Frost stands on top of an ice glacier not moving Pyrrha stares up at him with a smirk "You know you shouldn't let your guard down." "Who said i did." Frost swings his elbow behind him to strike Shika in the gut he jumps into a backflip just as Pyrrha tosses her shield at him. Shika unsheathes her Sai's Frost quickdraws his Yamato, Shika dodges with elegance Frost teleports behind her to slash at her. Shika dodges however Frost shoots her with a lightning bolt Pyrrha drops down from the glacier above him, Frost teleports back he fires off a rapid barrage of energy swords. Pyrrha blocks his swords with ease she retaliates by ramming him into a wall in the Urban biome, Frost gets up just as her and Shika regroup. Frost sends down a hailstorm of energy swords, Frost follows up his assault with a Judgement Cut End. Shika puts two of her fingers on her head she anticipates Frost to attack with his Devil Trigger. She looks up to see a blistering barrage of energy swords nail her "Impossible! How was a wrong!?" Frost scoffs from the top of a glacier "You wanna know why? It's because your powers are nothing but a joke." Frost drops down and activates his Eclipse limit breaker that drops her aura to 10% Frost darts around and teleports to the side. Pyrrha turns her sword into its rifle form Frost teleports side to side whilst Pyrrha fires at him. Frost unleashes a quick barrage of fury strikes before sending her back with his Magical Sword limit breaker.
After the fight Frost heads to the streets of Atlas, Pyrrha finds him sipping on a cup of coffee "Hey Frost!" Frost turns around with a surprised reaction "Pyrrha? Why aren't you at the looser streak?" "It doesn't matter, congratulations i heard that you win every tournament no matter who you fight." "It's what i was born for, no matter who my opponent is they will fall at my hands. Shika however was nothing but a joke." "I never knew that a student of SeeD would live in Atlas." Frost merely laughs "Please I'm from Crown City, anyways I'll see you around."
(Present) Frost sighs as he hears Ruby gossip with Tidus the group near their dorms after heading back to Beacon, Frost scans his door with his scroll Ruby stops him before he enters "Hey! Me, Tidus and Zack were going to grab some lunch wanna come along!?" Frost quietly sighs without turning around. "No, I'm pretty tired and worn down, I'm going to take a nap." Weiss scoffs as he enters his room "Tired and worn down? Yeah right." Tidus nervously chuckles "Well, getting punched by i giant overgrown dog can do a number on you." Seifer elbows Squall in his ribs "Hey, i heard that Ren and Zell are sparring in a bit lets say we make up old times." Squall nods "I'd love to." Frost sighs as he hears footsteps fade away. Frost take off his coat and tosses it on the desk, he places his boots by his bed he finally places his Yamato against the window frame. Frost drops on his unmade bed and covers himself with his blankets.
Meanwhile a few dorms down Cinder darkly glares out her window Mercury taps his foot "You seem frustrated Cinder. Did Frost reject you or something?" "Very funny, if you didn't know he ruined our only chance to move to phase two. So all we can do now is play along. And if you even think about approaching Frost don't be stupid especially you Mercury." "Me? Emerald was the one that tried to befriend, when i said don't. But no she had to act all friendly." Emerald closes her book and sits at the side of her bed "So what now?" Cinder taps her fingers along the window frame "Plan B." Cinder darkly chuckles, Mercury crosses his arms with a scoff "No, not Sephiroth." Cinder darkly laughs as she gives into her dark side "Sephiroth is only a distraction, and it's about time that him and Frost have a little playdate." a few hours pass Frost puts his gear back on. Frost heads to a café to get a cup of coffee Frost finishes stirring his coffee, someone sits in front of him. Frost looks up to see Cinder "What do you want?" Cinder pretends to be offended with a shocked expression "How...how could you be so mean to me? I've been nothing but nice to you...and this is how you treat me?" Frost gives Cinder that 'Really' look. "Either speak or get out of my sight." Cinder sighs leaving Frost disinterested. Frost takes his coffee and heads back to Beacon, leaving Cinder a bit offended 'I guess i went a bit too far. Oh well there's always a next time.' Frost gets back to Beacon he leans against a wall outside of the dorms
