(Excerpts From Previous Entry)

"…There are 3 things that kill a werewolf: silver bullets, plenilunaemorbus, and vampire venom.

…There are 3 things that kill a vampire: wooden stakes, plenilunaemorbus, and the witches' potion 'lamiavirum'.

…There are 3 things that kill a witch/warlock: fire, plenilunaemorbus, and werewolf blood."

I slammed the brakes and swerved onto a small grassy field that they have used as a driveway to park their cars. I pulled the keys out, opened the door, and quickly ran off towards the house, not daring to look back and see what damage I might have done to Clarence's precious car.

Their house was located near the base of the mountain they originally came from. It was just a dilapidated, abandoned old shack before, but from the looks of it now, they must have "remodeled" it a bit. I jogged up the pathway and didn't stop until I was at the door. My big realization was pounding in my head, dying to be share. I rang the doorbell a good 5 times. Would they hurry up?!

"Noelle!" Sarah greeted before the door was even all the way open. "I was expecting you. Come in, come in."

Immediately stepping through the doorway was like entering a fantastic world. Inside the sorcerers' house was simply fascinating. One wall was lined with shelves full of fat, ancient-looking spell books. On the other side were cabinets and more shelves of interesting looking potions in bottles. The living room had a normal couch and a TV and a coffee table but with a smoky crystal ball on top. Jonah and Pete sat at the table in the kitchen and they looked up as I entered.

"I'm Sarah," she said, shaking my hand. "And that's Pete. I'm sure you already know us."

"Noelle? What are you doing here?" Jonah asked, walking over towards me.

"I have something to tell you guys. Something important."

"Yes," Sarah nodded with the sense of knowing, "I saw you walking up to our house through the crystal ball earlier this morning. I feel you have some news to share?"

"I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that the werewolves and vampires are running out of patience. Even though they originally gave you a week to make the cure, you now only have until Sunday. If you can't hand them a potion to fix that disease by then, they will attack with no mercy. They are planning battle as we speak," I said.

All three magical ones looked at me with shocked expressions. I guess they didn't see this one coming.

Jonah shook his head. "And what's the good news?"

"The good news is I can help you. I think I know what the disease is."

"You do? Oh that's great!" Sarah exclaimed. "If I just knew the name, I bet I could find the formula for the cure in a book somewhere."

"It's plenilunaemorbus!" I pronounced it with some difficulty.

Sarah and Pete gasped. "WHAT??"

"But that's not possible!" Pete said. "In order to get it, there has to be—"

"—a solar eclipse." I pulled out the flyer Josephine gave me in school today out of my pocket. I unfolded it and showed them. It was all there in black and white.

"It also has to have a—"

"There is. That's why the werewolves and vampires are planning to battle on Sunday, because that's the next full moon."

The two older sorcerers looked petrified. "Plenilunaemorbus. The full moon disease. I don't believe it," Sarah said. "I knew I should have ordered a new lunar calendar when I lost mine!"
