Some people found comfort in sitting next to a fireplace or having someone hold onto them and whisper sweet nothing into their ear. James Potter did not find comfort in any of these things, instead finding comfort in food, specifically sweet food th...

chapter twenty six: oh godric, just tell me how you feel
Louisa Franklin realized something about herself. She sometimes struggled with sharing her emotions causing her to act out and do dumb things. For example, kissing Sirius Black and running away and successfully avoiding him for the day. She seriously needed to sort her shit out and to do that, she needed the women. Gabrielle and Matilda were in front of the girl as they sat on the grass near the black lake, pretty much freezing their asses off from the cold that was getting ready to go into spring. Louisa knew her behavior was somewhat erratic and a tiny bit unpredictable but she truly realized it by the looks on Gabrielle and Matilda's face.
"Louisa, how do you actually feel about Sirius? Like do you actually fancy him or are you just wanting to fancy someone and to have someone fancy you?" The girl frowned and glared at the blades of grass and shoved her head further into her scarf around her neck.
"I don't know. God, this is all so confusing." She groaned out as she looked back to her friends who pouted at her hopelessness.
"We've mucked about before but that was just messing around and he has actually become a really good friend of mine." She let her words hang in the air, sighing loudly and looking as her warm breath floated into the air. Matilda and Gabi sent a look to each other and sighed, shuffling forward and wrapping their arms around the girl who was almost going to protest but accepted it anyway, putting her gloved hands on their knees.
"I know you want us to tell you what to do but we can't you have to make that decision for yourself," Gabi said quietly causing Louisa to nod slightly. She loved her friends with her whole heart and this really made her glow with love.
"I don't want to rush you but James tells me that Sirius is going a bit mad." Matilda's soft words were a bit of an understatement. In fact, they were probably the biggest understatement of the century.
"Prongs, gimme the map." The situation that had begun to unfold in the Gryffindor common room was a bit of an odd one. Lily Evans and a couple of others watched with curious eyes as James Potter held parchment paper tightly in his left hand that was swung behind him as Sirius Black narrowed his eyes at him.
"No, Matilda said that she's talking to her now. You can't go on and find her. She said she needs space and that's what you're going to give her." Sirius raised an eyebrow as he stalked James who backed away toward the exit of the common room.
"I just want to talk to her and see if she is okay." James felt himself hesitate before Sirius began to run after him. James Potter was usually good in these sorts of situations as he began to run. Unfortunately, he had not thought that far ahead. He ran out of the room and looked at the blank parchment before swearing to himself as he heard Sirius behind him. He did what he had to do as he threw the map over the side of the stairs as Sirius reached him.
