I walked back to Marcus who was in front of his house, inviting in more kids.
"How many did they get?" I ask after the three teens walk in. They looked 17 or 18 but one of them had the flare. His eyes were bloodshot and his arms had dark veins on them. They haven't reached his neck yet though. The other two looked fine.
"They found 5 immunes." He says, taking a drink. How did I not see them? I feel like this whole week I have been out of it, being controlled by the flare. I don't remember most of the week. I desperately need the Bliss.
"Good." I say. I'm about to walk away before he grabs my arm.
"You know, you've been lashing out a lot lately. Should I tie you up and put you down?" He asks, his lips quivering as he tries not to smile.
"I don't think that will be necessary." I say, yanking my arm out of my grasp. I walk around the house and make my way to the shed.
As I round the house, I hear the terrified screams of LeAnn. I sprint to see the shed. There are four drunk cranks that came out the back door of Marcus's house. They are banging on the walls of the shed. The door is wide open. One has Peter while another has LeAnn tight in their grasps. I pull my gun out and run over there.
"Hey!" I yell. The two cranks that aren't holding someone turn to face me. I face my gun to one of their heads. "Let them go. I don't want to hurt you but, obviously, I will if I have to. Let them go." They smirk and one pulls out a knife. They walk over to LeAnn and put it up to her neck. "Fine, lets have some fun." I say, pulling the trigger on the one in front of LeAnn. He falls to the floor and the cranks let go of Peter and LeAnn and run. LeAnn runs to me and hugs me around the waist, saying "thank you" over and over. Peter comes over and just stands there as I bend down so I am face to face with LeAnn.
"Are you okay?" I ask, cupping her face in my hands, looking for any injuries.
"I am, I'm okay." She says, holding my hands to her face. Her eyes are red and her cheeks are yet. I sigh in relief and stand up, holding her hand. I look at Peter.
"Are you okay?" I ask him, scanning his body for injuries. He has a bloody nose.
"They punched him!" LeAnn exclaims in anger.
"Yea, I can see that." I say, focusing on his dripping blood. "Come on." I say taking Peter's hand and leading them both back to the shed. "You guys must have forgotten to lock the door when I left." I say sitting Peter on a chair and LeAnn on the bed. I get out my first aid kit that the Right Arm gave me and bend down in front of Peter. I take out some tissues and hold it to his nose, drying the blood. I then hand Peter more tissues and make him hold them to his nose. "Don't worry, you guys will be safe after tomorrow." I say sitting down on the floor across from Peter. He tilts his head back and holds the tissues there.
He groans, "How do you know we will be safe?" He asks, not bothering to look at me. He throws the soaked tissues away and gets more. The bleeding has almost stopped.
"Because I trust these people." I say, "You trust me, right?" I ask.
"Of course we do, you saved our lives!" Peter says dropping the tissues in the wastebasket and looking at me. "I'm just scared we can't trust them." I shake my head.
"If you can trust me, you can definitely trust them, okay?" He nods his head. "Okay, now, do me a favor and tie that chain around my waist." I saw, pointing to the corner where I have attached the chain to the floor.
"Why?" He asks, looking at me concerned.
"I didn't take my Bliss and I don't have any left to take. I could turn into a crank tonight. I just need to wait until the Right Arm gets here tomorrow so I can get more. Now," I say walking over to the chain and sitting down, "tie me up." Peter gets up and ties the chain around my waist. "You need to tie it tighter. If I escape, I could hurt you." He sigs and ties it tighter. "Take the key and don't lose it. If I ask for it and my eyes are black, don't give it to me. Only give it to me if my eyes look normal and I am not breathing hard. Okay?" He nods and takes the key from my hand. "Go to bed." Peter walks over to the bed not taking his eyes off of me. He sits down and puts LeAnn in his arms before lying down and closing his eyes, clutching LeAnn and the key close to him.
I close my eyes and lean against the wall, taking deep breaths. Don't turn, don't turn I think to myself, trying to calm my breathing. My whole body is shaking and I feel suddenly really angry, I feel like killing someone. I squeeze my eyes and squeeze my hands into fist. I will not change! I yell in my mind, but my body continues to shake. I hold my breath, hoping to pass out so I don't hurt anyone, so I don't turn. Finally, my fist unclench as I pass out.

The picture is of Astrid's hands while she is cleaning Peters bloody nose.
Is explaining what the picture are of stupid? I want your opinion on if I should keep doing it or let you figure it out on your own (well, if I'm actually talking to other people and not myself because I don't want to hear my answer lol).
