GLASGOW:
*4 days later*
ALEX: found nick yet?
GLASIE: nah idk where he is
ALEX: I haven't seen him in days
GLASIE: that's scary
ALEX: the concert is in 3 days
GLASIE: yeah, but you play guitar too!
ALEX: this might sound weird
ALEX: but we need you to replace him in the concert if he doesn't show up
GLASIE: I'll do it!
ALEX: meet me @ the concert Plc what it called @ 1:30
GLASIE: idek but I'll be there

I showed up at the Baltimore Concert Center exactly when Alex told me to, and sure enough, he was there.

"Hi!" I walked in to see Bob and Paul already practicing.

"Oh hey Glasgow. You cool with using Nick's guitar?"

"Sure."

And soon enough we were rummaging through the storage room. We could NOT find Nick's guitar. Anywhere.

"Is someone hiding it?" Alex paced around the room.

"I dunno." I gave up the search and was playing with bubble wrap.

"Wait... In the bubble wrap." Alex rushed over to a pile of the bubble wrap that I had finished popping minutes ago.

"There's something written on it!" I examined a sheet of bubble wrap.

"Looks like... A fraction of a note. Like...per piece. Not the entire thing."

"Get that." I rolled my eyes and started to arrange the bubble wrap.

"Paul, Bob, get over here!"

Once we had everything arranged, I knew exactly what was going on.

"Why is Nick at a one direction concert?!" Paul laughed.

"He's not! He was kidnapped!" Bob shot back.

"That's not what it says at all." I said quietly, looking at the array of bubble wrap shreds.

we have Nick! AHAHAH! All because of little miss Fire Girl, who gave my best friend 2nd degree burns on two thirds of his body! We will prove once and for all that she is EVIL! After the concert, we will be taking him to the one direction concert that will be here the next day. You will find him there. And after that... We will hunt down all of you. Ciao!

"Glasie... Is this about you?" Alex asked.

"Yep." I said quietly.

"Well then... I guess we'll need your help if we wanna fight these people off." Alex decided.

"Wanna be the official Franz Ferdinand roadie?!" Paul asked excitedly.

"Um... HECK YES! Can Strawberry come too?! She's super smart and can help us eliminate those losers!"

"I say yes." Bob nodded.

For the next three days, we practiced as much as we possibly could. The only scary part was how the crowd would react. And soon enough, it was the night of the concert.

STRAWBS: aw come on, after this we'll be roadies!
GLASIE: yeah, roadie power
STRAWBS: we'll go all over the world with our favorite people!
GLASIE: I'll just finish the concert.

Alex tapped me on my shoulder and I walked onstage slowly. For the first time, I was scared that they wouldn't like me. But I quickly dismissed the thought when I saw Strawberry in the crowd.

"First off, if you're wondering why Nick's not here..." Alex looked back at Paul, Bob, and I as if he was looking for an answer, "um... He called in sick. So we have our friend and honorary roadie Glasie playing for him tonight."

Then, we started up Take Me Out. Alex said we should do a duet, so I reluctantly agreed.

"So if you're lonely..." He motioned for me to step forward.
