GLASIE'S POV:

"I FOUND A TOWN!" Paul shouted.

There was a tiny skyline outlined a few miles away.

"YES!!" Strawberry cheered.

Nick half smiled and continued to lean on me like a little puppy child.

Around 30 minutes later, we arrived in a city bustling with human sized reptiles and insects.

"Oh my." Alex looked over at me.

"Excuse me? Do you know where we could find some help for our friend?" Strawberry asked a lizard man politely.

"Yeah, go to that building across the street and ask for Arabelle."

"Thanks!"

Strawberry pushed through the crowd, making room for the rest of us.

"Hello? Arabelle?" Strawberry asked once we entered the building.

Nick was about to pass out, Alex was a bit freaked out, and as usual Bob was pissed at everything.

"Hmm? Whatcha emergency?" A voice called from upstairs.

"Our friend went through a danger cave!" I shouted up the spiral staircase.

"C'mon upstairs. I'll check em out."

I half carried, half dragged Nick upstairs.

I was met at the top by a furry spider-girl.

"Grossnasties!"

"Yep." I noticed that Nick's skin had deteriorated in some spots. I guess Arabelle noticed too.

"Well this is a problem... Did he hold his breath in there?" Arabelle asked.

"I did. He told me to... And then didn't."

"So he's a hero... Hmm?"

"I guess." I could tell that I was blushing.

"Then I guess this is a bit of a problem... Hold on a sec." Arabelle dropped Nick on a chair and went into a room in the back.

"COBWEBS!" Arabelle emerged from the back holding bundles of what looked like ace bandage.

"I'll just put this on the deteriorated spots..." She started wrapping Nick's arms and legs in cobwebs to prevent any further injury.

"I dunno how long he'll be out... But that stuff has some pretty bad effects. Can't believe he didn't hold his breath down there."

"Yeah." I shrugged.

"Best thing to do is wait 'till he wakes up and ask him all the questions."

"Actually... I have a question."

"Whas that?"

"Why are you helping us? Aren't animals supposed to be against humans?"

"OH! Not here in Insetile City!"

"Wha--" Nick sat up in the chair.

"Nick woke up!" I called over to Arabelle, who was now in the back.

"Can I ask him questions?" Arabelle asked politely.

"I guess so." I shrugged.

Arabelle was the nicest spider I've ever met.

"How ya feelin'?" She asked.

"I can't breathe--- like at all--"

"Well that's a problem!"
