We were in the choir room, practicing 'Don't stop believing'. Finn and Quinn had the lead because Rachel left, and they were pretty good. Until Quinn ran out the door looking like she was about to throw up.

"Quinn, you ok?" Mr Schuester asked as the music stopped.

"I think she just had a bad breakfast burrito." Finn explained.

"Can we please talk about the gaint elephant in the room?" Kurt asked.

"Your sexuality?" Santana asked sarcastically.

"Rachel." Kurt replied giving Santana a glare.

"We can't do it without her." I added.

"That's not true." Mr Schue tried to chear us up. "We may have to layer Santana, Megan and Mercedes over Quinn's solo but.. We'll be fine."

"Mabye for the invitational, but not for the sectionals. And certainly not the regionals "Artie pointed out.

"Wheelchair kid's right, that Rachel chick makes me want to light myself on fire but she can sing." Puck agreed.

"Rachel left guys. She's gone. Now if we're going to make this we can't look back. Alright take 5 guys." Mr Schuester went to sit at the piano and Finn following to talk about something. Me, Kurt and Mercedes talked out of class and went on with our normal day.

"Meggie, I have to run and ask Mercedes something quickly. I'll see you at lunch."Kurt told me as we walked out of Glee club, I had a free lesson now so I through I would just chach up on some homework.

"Okay, see you later." With that, Kurt ran off.

I walked over to my locker to get the homework I needed, math, English that sort of thing.
I had about 3 books in my hand and started to walk away but once again, someone hit them out my hand.

"Hey are you ok?" Someone asked me, it was that cute boy that just joined Glee.

"Oh, um, yeah I'm fine thanks. It's just really annoying." I told him, starting to pick up my books.

"Here, let me." He started picking the books, but I took them from him. I know it was a nice gesture but I don't need help.

"Thanks but I don't really need any help."

"I know, but I just wanted to be nice. I think it's really mean when people do that."

"Even though you used to be one of those people." I said. "I meen... You used to do football - and you still do, but like, your nicer now."I said again but way more nervously.

"Well, I just thought that we're in the same club, I could put a bit more of an effort into getting to know you." Mike explained.

"Well, thank you for the books. I meen, thanks for picking them up because... Like, you didn't give me any books like you were selling then you just-"

"It's fine, I get it. See you around." He said, walking away with a charming smile.

"B-bye." Why was I being so nervous around this guy?! I've had guy friends before but I just feel really... Happy around Mike. And I never realised what a nice name Mike was! I was lost in thought when I didn't see a strawberry slushy be thrown in my face. I didn't see who it was, and I didn't care, I just when to the bathroom thinking about a certain boy...

Kurt and I were talking about what slushy was the worst to get hit by until Mr Schu came in with a beautiful woman who looked about 40.

"Everyone, this is April Rhodes. She's our newest member." April gave us some finger guns and clicked her tongue, she seemed really nice.

"Wait, so old people can join now?" Finn asked.
