Cammy's P.o.V.

When I had first arrived at Camp Half-Blood, I didn't think I would get "claimed" right away. But nope, I was claimed, if not almost, immediately. The moment I stepped over the border, a huge golden mouse was dangling above my head. How nice, thanks dad (a.k.a Apollo....)! I appreciate the rat! I will never forget that day! Literally.

Where should I start...? When I started noticing strange occurrences? When I first tried sushi? No...I should skip that....How about when I met Nico, for starters? Well, get ready to hear my crazy, weird, awesome, adventure to Camp Half-Blood!

**************

After purchasing the latest book and Barnes and Nobles, I noticed a familiar face pass by. I smiled to myself, then spun around and waved my hand frantically, carrying the book in my free hand.

"Levi!" I practically screamed.

Levi turned around, and had a sickening look, he was turning pale. His brown hair and hazel eyes holding something back. I frowned, so did he.

"Uh-um what's the matter, Levi?" I asked. He walked/limped passed me, completely ignoring me. "Hey! What gives? Who are you-"

Then my heart stopped. I wanted to faint right there on the spot. The guy I was staring was heavy on the black. He wore black jeans, a black aviator jacket, and black converse. He had olive skin with shaggy black hair, and dark eyes, almost black. He had this sad look in his eyes, as if he spent all his life in grief and looked around my age, 14. Maybe a bit older than me, possibly 16.

But what I noticed was his sword by his side. I covered my mouth from making a sound, but it didn't work out. The boy raised an eyebrow. Levi started stuttering, trying to form words. I slowly pointed to the sword without thinking. Levi looked even paler than this guy.

"Y-You can see the s-sword?" Levi asked. I nodded. He turned to the strange guy. "I knew it! I'm too slow! Do you think I should take her to-"

"Yes." The guy calmly said. "She has a powerful aurora. We need to be on our way, Levi. Do you think she is a-"

"I bet you all my tin cans, she is, Nico!" Levi said. "She has a more powerful presence than just a mortal that can see through the mist!" He face palmed, "I'm so pathetic."

Nico (apparently the guy) rolled his eyes. "Well then, get a move on, Levi! Demigods don't just find camp by themselves!" He hissed. I was puzzled by the word 'demigod'.

Without thinking, I grabbed Nico's hand, which caused him to flinch. "I don't even know you, plus can someone explain to me about-"

"Everything?" Levi offered.

"-camp, whatever you meant by demigods, or possibly how you guys know each other?" I whisper-yelled.

Nico glared at me then yanked my hand away. Levi sighed, "Well, it's not like it's the first time I have been asked this." He put his hand on his neck. Then he stopped abruptly and sniffed the air. I raised an eyebrow. "M-M-Monsters!"

"Well, we have to go, now that you are kinda realizing who you are, bit by bit," Nico shrugged. "It's only a matter of time before those stupid monsters arrive for a snack. But don't worry, Camila Nixon, they won't want to mess with you once they see what you can do in the boxing ring," he grinned. I blushed. So that was who was always watching me practice? Wait, how did he know my name?!

"Stalker much!?" I mumbled, irritated.

I guess he realized how creepy his words sounded, while his ears started to turn pink on the tips. He scowled, "Shut up, I'll explain later, but right now you have to follow me and Levi. Got it?" I nodded innocently. "Let's go meet Mrs. O'Leary...."

**************

It only took the snap of Nico's fingers to summon a dog the size of a military tank. I probably would have been impressed, if not for the fact that the hellhound came bounding towards me at 60 mph. Trust me, when over a ton of weight is coming for you, you run for your life. I was too frightened to even move. I mean it looked terrifying and everything, but Nico nor Levi didn't seemed to be fazed.

Nico wispered something in Mrs. O'Leary's gigantic ear, the hound wagged its tail as if saying yes. Nico grinned and patted my back. "All right, things look good with Mrs. O'Leary, she has her energy, but only enough for one person." He turned to me. I felt myself blush. "So either you ride with me, or Mrs. O'Leary. Choose."

"Um, if I can talk, I would really want to just travel with Mrs. O'Leary, 'cause ya know, I'm a guy. Guys and guys don't hold hands, while traveling over the world." Levi muttered. I sighed.

"Guess so," I shrugged. "Shall we go?"

Nico grinned, "And that we shall."

Levi jumped on Mrs. O'Leary as she began to shift herself in a ready position. He gave me and Nico a thumbs up. I sighed in relief, knowing I could trust him on his own with an actual hellhound. I turned to Nico, looking for reassurance. Thank the gods he knew what I wanted. He gently put his hands on my shoulder and gave me a warm smile.

"You worry too much, ya know?" He said calmly with a straight face.

I crossed my arms, "Well, I am being abducted by a-"

"Son of Hades...."

"-and being accompanied by Levi-"

"The saytr."

I paused. None of this made sense. I had to be dreaming. I quickly reached for my rib to pinch, but Nico was thinking the same thing. He pinched me hard, causing me to jump a little.

"What the he-"

"Hades," Nico corrected. "Now that you know you're awake, you should hurry. The shadows are out, perfect time to shadow travel."

I was on the verge of crying, but I took it all in. I was now, and forever, an official demigod. I can't change my fate. Here I was, about to "shadow travel" with a son of Hades named Nico, to a place called 'Camp Half-Blood' on 'Half-Blood Hill'. Wherever the he- er Hades that is.
