A Jolly Demigod Christmas: Part 3

Cammy's P.o.V.

"STOLLS!" I call for them. "Come on, it's fricken freezing out here with the border weak!" At this point I was getting irritated. "TRAVIS, CONNOR!!" Then I spotted Nico's ring, covered in light snow in the grass.

How is this out here? Nico never takes off his ring!

I got on my hands and knees and slowly reach for the small object. I sighed in relief, watching my breath evaporate. At least I can return it. Then I turn around and yelp. Travis and Connor right behind, grins slowly appearing on their faces. I gulp, kinda nervous.

"Well looky here, Connor," Travis says grabbing my arms.

"Hey!! What the Hades?!" I yell, but Connor covers my mouth with his hand, grinning crazy.

"Yep, looks like our plan is falling right into place," Connor sighs. I try to make noise, but I end up nearly biting his hand off. "Ow, h-hey!"

"Looks like she is a biter like our last victim-er client," Travis reassures, which wasn't so reassuring. They start dragging me to the woods, as the sound of monsters grow louder.

I moan. "Guys, please! I only came here to call you for the party!" But it came out more or less like I was dying with Connor's hand over my lips.

"We just want you to tell us your little secret, alright?" Connor tries to persuade, but horridly fails.

I shake my head no, and try to say the same. "Excellent! Now hurry, I'll go get the special guest!" Travis yells, handing me to Connor. And with that, he was gone, deeper into the woods.

Connor quickly lets go of me, as I fall to the dirt. "Sorry," he whispers.

I nod. "'S ok." I sit on a grassy area, tracing my finger in the soil. I blow a bang out of my eyes, sighing.

"You're going along with this way better than our other victims," Connor says, as he sits down next to me.

I turn to him and smile. "You're different from Travis, he is way more devilish," I giggle.

Connor blushes. "Do you like my brother?" He asks softly.

That catches me off guard, "N-No."

"You hesitated."

"Did NOT, you just startled me with that question. Besides, isn't he dating Katie Gardner?"

"Yeah, but-"

"I totally ship them! What about you?"

He sits in silence for a while. Now I felt a little guilty, I asked too many questions.

"Look, I'm sorry I-"

"He spends less time with me, and he is always talking about 'Katie this' and 'Katie that'."

I frowned. I thought that the Stolls never fought. Maybe it was a rumor. Without hesitating, I put my arms around him, giving him a hug. He didn't hold back. I had a fluttering feeling in my stomach, making me smile to myself.

Travis's P.o.V.

"Love is beautiful, don't you think, Nico?" I say, snickering. Nico is tomato red, struggling against me as we watch my brother and Cammy hug behind some bushes. Priceless.

Though, when Connor said I talked too much about Katie....I felt bad for the guy. I didn't realize. But he needs to find friends, someone to rely on. Like Cammy. A sweet, reliable, smart, hot, and new girl here. They can have a fresh start. Possibly even hook up. At least, that was my goal for him.

I grin, "What about you Nico? Do you ship them?" I look down at him, which he is turning purple with lack of oxygen.

I quickly let go, still looking at my brother and Cammy. She let go and just smiled at Connor, who was blushing and stuttering like an idiot. I looked back at Nico, who was peeking through the bushes. I grinned, but he shot me the Early Death Wish look. Then I accidentally made eye contact with Cammy. Big mistake.

"Travis?!" She calls. I face palm and turn to Nico. He slowly got up, me following behind. She looked stunned and blushed. "You too, N-Nico!?" Then she and Connor stood up, scooting away from him. "Was this set up?" Cammy said, tears forming in the corner of her eyes.

"N-No!" Connor replied.

"All you said was true, about you and Travis?"

"Yes!"

"Liar! I don't believe you!" She sobbed. "You're just as bad as your brother!" Cammy stormed off, towards back from where we came from.

"Travis! What did you do?" Connor yelled, pushing me, nearly knocking me down.

"I-I-I didn't mean to get caught! All I wanted was for you to get a girl for once in your pathetic life!" I had lost my temper. Nico stayed silent, watching us argue back and forth. I sighed. "I'm sorry, I should have just-"

"-Left me alone? Like you always do, now?!" He balled his fist. "I hate you Travis, I hate you!" Connor ran off in the same direction as Cammy. I didn't bother chasing after him.

"Siblings shouldn't fight," Nico said, looking at the ground. "You never know when you will lose them....and their last moments with you will be arguing and hatred." He started walking down the path of Cammy and Connor. "Y-You better show up at the party." Soon he was nowhere to be seen.

I stood there, replaying Nico's words in my head, then Connor's. My brother couldn't hate me....right?

At the party, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Calypso, Hazel, and Frank celebrated. So did, Will Solace, Katie, Pollux, and a few other demigods who decided to stay for the Christmas party. Nico was in his usual corner and once in a while he would lay on the couch. Connor stood next to Cammy, trying to explain everything, but she just brushed him off.

I sat there, at the Big House kitchen table, looking at my goblet of orange Fanta. I closed my eyes. I had screwed up big time. Connor is possibly even farther from Cammy, Nico is starting to sound like a wise old prophet, and I was closer to getting the Worst Brother Award.

The best part: nobody knew or cared to even look at us. Ask the four of us if we were alright, or even comfort us. Only Katie would once in a while, then she would head back to the party as if nothing mattered.

This had to be the saddest Christmas ever. Looks like nobody will be under the mistletoe this year.

(A/N: Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm on a roller coaster called Life. Ew. Anyways, I hope this makes up for it. This is the end of 'A Jolly Demigod Christmas.' I will start regular chapters that will finally have quests for Cammy and her crew. Plus....ERMAHGAWDS, ALMOST FRICKEN 1k reads?!! Love you guys, take care my demigods!)
