Chapter 7 not the jedi way

(Bly's perspective)

I was preparing for the mission to Florrum to go and protect some villagers from pirates I didn't get the full details I would be heading there with General Secura, General Skywalker,General Tano,Commander Rex, clone troopers Jesse, fives,echo,Kix,Tup,Hardcase,Hevy,droidbait,cutup,dogma,Vaughn,Denal,Appo as well as General Fisto. I also heard that Monnk would be back and fighting in 2 days which is bad news for him as he has to fight against that horrible general. I headed to the LAAT gunship I only saw a clone medic and an arc trooper on board. I didn't know many of these clones only Rex, Vaughn, Jesse,Appo and Denal the rest were all 501st troopers I had never heard of. I got on the ship the medic had his helmet off he had a bold head with some markings on it he looked up and smiled "hey" he said i smirked at him but as always my helmet was on so he couldn't see "hi" I replied "so who are you" the words of the arc trooper caught my attention. "Um commander Bly of the 327th and you?" I questioned "I'm five's" he held out his hand and I shook it and then I pointed at the medic "who is this". "That's Kix our head medic you won't find a better one in the entirety of the grand army of the Republic" I'm not to sure if he was being serious about but I went along with it he got up and saluted me "sir" he said I nodded my head at him "at ease soldier" I said I knew there were many more faces I had to meet so many more faces.

We finally arrived at Florrum it took us long enough. As the doors opened a man was standing there "you from the republic?" he questioned. "Yes we are and you are Saw Gerrera I'm assuming" General Skywalker asked "Yeah so your the Jedi and clones I heard about?". "No were the pirates" Lieutenant Jesse shouted and I heard some of the troops laugh I didn't but it didn't matter anyway I had my helmet no one could see my face but the rest of the troops besides Vaughn had there helemets off. Saw gave a disapproving look at Jesse but Jesse didn't care because of course he didn't maybe the 501st don't have as much respect. "I'm guessing he's the funny one" he said to general Skywalker "well he's one of them" Skywalker smirked back "I'll learn all your names at dinner but for now pick a tent" he all followed him over to some tents all the troopers chose there tents and since there was another space for 2 also partners I was happy to see that General Secura didn't go with General Fisto instead she went with General Tano I can only assume for male and female purposes.

But I then realised that there were only 9 tents and everyone else chose a partner I was the last one they had all gone in there tents where the hell am I'm going to sleep I thought to myself. I then felt a pat on the back "what are you waiting for getting in a tent" I turned to see Saw "um sir there isn't enough tents" I said sounding polite he then walked back a bit and counted all the tents "your right I'm sorry but there are no more tents and the ones we do have are filled" this isn't exactly what I was expecting "is there anywhere I can stay?" I questioned looking around he then touched his chin thinking. "You can sleep by the camp fire but there is no sleeping bags I'm sorry" he seemed very sympathetic "it's fine it will do" he nodded and then spoke again "I've done something like it before when we were overrun by pirates I had to sleep on the rough ground" I frowned sounds like a rough child hood I thought "well at least your not any more" I reassured he smiled "I won't have to if we win" we walked away I sat down on a rock and it's uncomfortable to sit on I can only imagine what it's like to lay my head down on it either way I won't complain I placed my rifle next to the fire I looked to see the sun began to go down I looked at the fire still with my helmet on.

"What are you doing out here commander" I looked up to see captain Vaughn I met him when me and General had a mission with him and Ashoka a few months back. From what I heard he is Ashoka's personal clone which is why he was orange on his helmet. "Well there were no more tents so I'm sleeping out here tonight" I smiled Vaughn was like me we both wanted to follow orders and bond with our generals and we also both liked our helmets and kept them on all the time. But he also has a really weird habit of deciding to stand up instead of sitting down like he is doing right now I don't know how he got it but he says he will think he's sitting down but he's not and it's bloody strange. "That's a shame I'm sorry to hear that" even though he had a helmet on he sounded sympathetic which I appreciated "so who do you have to share your tent with" I smirked sounding like I preferred out here instead of a tent"Appo" I knew Sargent Appo from when I had to go on a mission with him and Rex to infiltrate a separatist command post on Naboo he followed orders and was a pretty good strategist and that's why he's a Sargent.
