Chapter 30 perspectives

(Anakin's perspective)

I was walking through the Jedi temple halls still contemplating if what the Jedi council is doing is right making me spy on the chancellor. As he has put a lot thoughts in my head about the Jedi council and I'm not to sure if I can trust them anymore as I don't have Obi wan,Rex or Ashoka to talk to about this and I have Padmé but she's not a Jedi so how would she understand what I'm going through. I see Bly walking down the hall his head hung low I want to talk to him but there is too much on my mind right now. I'm to distracted I'm my thoughts so I don't notice Bly not turning to move out the way so he bumps into my shoulder.

"Sorry General Skywalker" his voice trembles as he turns around to apologise.

This confuses me what would he have to be upset about the war is almost over he can have a free life once it's done I think that's what the republic is planning to do anyway. "What's wring Bly you seem upset" I ask and he shakes his and sighs "I'm heading back to Felucia and that will be my last battle" I then remember that he was meant to be at Felucia on a mission "aren't meant to be already there and what do you mean last battle?" I question. He sighs again and looks up at me "well your probably find out soon anyway so I might as well tell you" he inhaled "I'm not allowed to come back to the republic army after my battle on Felucia as me and Aayla were in a relationship and of course that isn't aloud so the council has removed me from the republic army so if the war does carry on I can't see her again". I remember 5 years ago when things were simpler I tried to break them up but it's actually happening and they can never see each other again something needs to be done about the council that seems a bit too harsh.

I realise that I've been stood in silence for a few seconds thinking and once I snap back into reality I end the conversation quickly. "I need to head somewhere bye" I rush off down the hall I feel back for him but I must speak with the chancellor.

25 minutes later

I finally arrived at the chancellor's office and I was allowed in. He was sitting at his desk looking at plans for something "umm Chancellor?" I questioned he immediately switches it off. "Ahh Anakin it's so good to see you" he smiles hugging me I hug him back but walk back a bit he looks confused at me "Anakin what's wrong". Now I look at him confused "how did you k—" he cut me off "trust me son I can tell now what's troubling you" I looked down at the ground as he gives a face of sympathy "is it the Jedi please tell me you can trust me Anakin" I sigh "I found out Commander Bly and Aayla Secura we're in a relationship and Bly will be removed from the republic so he can't see Aayla again I want to tell the council to reconsider but I'm worried there find out abou—" I stop myself I can't tell the anyone not even the chancellor. He tilts his head to the right and gives a comforting smirk "do you have someone you care about and your worried the Jedi will expel you" he always knew somehow it's like he can read my mind I nod slowly.

"He walks up to me and puts an arm around my shoulder and starts rubbing it "maybe the Jedi way isn't right for you and I sure I can convince the Jedi to reconsider or maybe I can find a different way for you" I don't respond I just keep looking at the ground. "Anakin what do you believe" my eye brows furrow as I turned my head to the left to face his jolly smile "I believe since your the chancellor you can make things better if one person could rule then there would be no arguments and and then they can decide what would be best make everything better" he nods his head slowly and smiles "come now my boy I can teach you that your not wrong that I can make things better and I can make you have a wonderful life with the one you love" he takes me out if the room I think the chancellor can make things great he will fix the Jedi and show me what my true path really is.
