Chapter 19 uncovered secrets

(Year 5 bjp) (year 5 years before Jedi purge)

We just finished our battle on Ithor the 501st and the 327th were now relaxing as the battle was now over and reinforcements are coming in soon to secure the planet so our job was over. I noticed Secura has gotten injured a tank shot at her direction it didn't hit her but it hit the ground below her which sent her into the air she now has a bad scar on her right hip it's purple and visibly to everyone I just want to check she is okay. I saw her walking back to her barracks but I caught up with her "hey Aayla" she turned around and smiled "Skywalker" I stopped in front of her "I just wanted to check you were okay as I saw you get injured after that tank fired at you I was just wandering if you wanted me to get Kix over here" she shook her head I was confused why did she not want it checked out. "No Skywalker I already had it checked out by Dug I'll be fine" she began to walk away but I put an arm in front of her to stop her "are you sure?" I put on a confused expression but she smiled and shook her head lowering my arm "no Skywalker I'll be fine" I saw her walk toward the direction of her barracks.

I decided to leave her it was probably fine I'm probably just over reacting even if Dug is a downgrade from Kix I'm sure he did just fine. I came across Rex who was looking over the holomap with his helmet under his left arm"Rex what are you doing the battle is over now" I said as I stood next to him with much arms crossed. "I know general just making sure all regions are secured" I put an arm on his shoulder he felt tense he then looked at me "trust me Rex were good" he inhaled "fine" he said as we walked away from the holomap. We walked in silence across the battle field luckily in this battle most troopers were mainly injured instead of killed. "Did you manage to get General Secura to Kix" he asked looking at me I didn't turn my head "no she said she already talked to Dug about it" I could sense confusion in Rex I turned to look at him he was looking down very confused at his feet.

"Something wrong Rex?" I questioned.

He shook his head "sir I never saw Dug with General Secura the hole time he was with me the whole battle and after the battle he was with Kix and Secura was no where to be seen" I stopped walking and so did he "why would she lie" I said turning around and Rex did the same. "Is she hiding some sir?" He questioned raising an eyebrow I turned to him "come on we're heading to her barracks" as began to walk toward the barracks I heard Rex sigh and look at his feet. I smirked "what is it Rex" he lifted his eyes at me but brought them back down "nothing general just don't you think were jumping to conclusions maybe it doesn't hurt that much" I stopped walking and stepped in front of him he lifted his head up "Rex it's better to be safe then sorry" I said raising an eyebrow and placing a hand on his shoulder he he inhaled "fine". I started walking away as he followed behind.

As we finally got her barracks I saw Bly and as soon as I saw him the force changed he was going to do something I put a hand to Rex's chest and looked back at him "get round the corner" I demanded he nodded as we both hurried to get around the corner as soon as we did I saw Bly at Secura's door he looked left and right before entering. He took his helmet off and quietly stepped inside "what is he up to" I heard Rex say as he put his helmet on his hip. I didn't look back at him I just looked up and saw a vent above Aayla's room "follow me" I ordered as I pulled the vent off using the force and pulled it toward me "was that just to save energy sir" Rex said smirking I looked back at him and smiled "yes, yes it was" we both hurried toward the vent as as I got Rex to climb up first I looked around still no one was around I then climbed up and placed the vent back.

We silently climbed through the vent trying to not make a sound Rex then stopped for some reason "sir there's a vent and Aayla is below" Rex whispered "move along so I can see" he moved to the one on the left barely getting through. I looked down and saw Aayla deep in meditation but no sign of Bly "sir why couldn't we knock on the front door?" Rex questioned "because then Bly might not of shown his intentions" he nodded at me I looked back down the vent and looked to the left of the Vent in the corner I could see movement. He was barley making a sound I could see the yellow from up here moving toward her and then his face came into view he had a smirk on his face he was about to do something really bad. Looked at him he had no weapon what is he up to. "Do you have a visual?" Rex said pulling out his DC-17 hand blasters "yep and he's moving toward Aayla from your side on 3 we jump down" Rex nodded.
