Chapter 21 there for each other

(Aayla's perspective)

Me and and Vos ignited our lightsabers and Bly turned on his light so we could see as it was pitch black in the cave. "How are you meant to know which ones yours?" Bly questioned breaking the silence "your can feel a connection with it through the force" I told him turning my head toward him "Oh" acting like he understands but he doesn't. "Your not the brightest are you" Vos said turning around to face us both but kept walking "well I'm sorry if I'm not force sensitive" Bly argued back. Vos smirked "I thought your would've taught your boyfriend by now about the force.....how long have you 2 been together?" he questioned now facing forward again as we jumped across a drop into freezing cold water which would probably freeze us to death in less then half an hour. Me and Bly looked at each other "just under 2 years" I replied "alright" he said as the cave began to get narrower and narrower until we were in single file.

"Are you sure it's this way" Bly said annoyed as he struggled to get through thanks to his armour and his gun. "Haha trust me man I feel it" Vos returned "alright so we're going off trust I feel a lot better" Bly sarcasm slipped in and I heard Vos laugh under his breath I'm just glad the two are getting along as it worried me that they wouldn't. 2 of the most important people in my life have to get on otherwise it could all fall apart. After about 15 minutes more of walking and as we got out of the narrow part of the cave we entered a large part of the cave there was a large pillar in the middle on the room that had a kyber crystal on. Vos stopped as he walked in the room he closed his eyes I stood by his side as Bly stood behind us "he lifted his left arm "it's that one" he pointed to the kyber crystal on the pillar "alright don't break this one" I joked he opened his eyes and smiled at me "don't worry that's not part of the plan".

I noticed there was a lot of ledges for me and Vos to jump on so we can get to the pillar but they were to long of jumps for Bly to make but luckily he brought cables that he can fire out of his gun so he can get on from here. "I'll race you" Vos smirked down at me "I'll beat you 2 your own crystal" I challenged he smiled as he jumped to the first one of course he cheated just like he used to. He landed on everything single on around the cave perfectly not almost slipping or even getting near the edge. I on the other hand haven't quite mastered that skill which I'm trying to do. We started on the right side of the cave and went all the way around to the back of the cave where it was close enough so we could jump to the pillar "I win" he said proudly as I got there Bly was already waiting there "I understand why this is so dangerous that water is deep" he said as he attached the rifle to his hip.

Vos walked over to the kyber crystal in the middle of the pillar and I stood behind him he pulled it out of the ice but as he did there was a change in the force it felt cold and sinister. He smirked as he pulled it out and pulled out his old lightsaber which was cut in 2 by grevious he had put rope around it so it couldn't fall apart. He placed the kyber crystal inside the lightsaber but the force darkened I felt like something big was happening once he closed the lightsaber I fell to the ground hitting the hard ice and Bly ran to my side "Aayla are you okay" I sounded panicked but Vos facing me he was facing the opposite direction. "Master what have you done" I cried as Bly helped me up "I'm sorry apprentice but I can't follow the Jedi path anymore" I heart broke in 2 what is he talking about "master" I was barely able to spit out "Ventress has been helping me to show me a new path with the Sith" he ignited his lightsaber it was a dark red blade I couldn't believe what I was seeing he has struggled in the past but I never thought I would see him turn. "I can overthrow Count Dooku and I could rule the Sith and Aayla you can join me and you can start a family with Bly" his words filled my mind I closed my eyes this was wrong I could never follow this path "no master" I said he turned around now and looked down he felt sorrow but his intentions were clear he wasn't going to change.

"I must teach you one more lesson..........Loss" he force pushed Bly against the cave wall sending him into the frozen water below. "Bly" I screamed I couldn't see him he was gone I had lost the love of my life to my master my world just keeps falling apart around me I turned back to Bly he had his hand raised out I stood up and threw off my coat. "Apprentice?" He questioned I inhaled closed my eyes and ignited my lightsaber as I opened them I saw my master drop a tear from his eye "I'm sorry apprentice" he pointed his lightsaber in my direction I stood no chance against my master but I'm going to try.

I charged first but he blocked pushed me back with a kick he then aimed for my shoulder but I blocked he then aimed for the other one but I blocked again we moved around the pillar coming to blades many times but what one point I lost my focus and he cut my leg but I forced pushed him back still kneeling he moved back to the edge of the pillar but didn't fall off he looked up at me stared me in the eyes and is stared right back. He charged swing for my head while screaming but I ducked and jumped backward but this put me in a perfect position for an attack he jolted forward stabbing me in the hip "ahh" I cried as he pulled it out of me it burnt badly it was right next to my scar on my hip. He force pushed me back hitting my head on the cold hard ice making me go unconscious.

(Bly's perspective)

I was shaking I was barley able to get out it sent me right to the bottom but I found the pillar and free climbed it luckily my helmet helped me breath longer and he it protected me from the cold. I climbed up I was behind Vos I saw Aayla on the ground she wasn't moving and Vos was moving toward her I pointed my rifle at him but it didn't work the rifle was jammed so instead I ran up behind him and put the rifle around his neck trying to choke him he strived back to where his kyber crystal was kept and pushed me into it we both fell to the ground. I didn't stand a chance especially not against a Jedi master I quickly picked up the rifle as he brought his lightsaber down on me he cut the rifle in half. I moved back and away from Vos he pointed it toward me "believe me Bly I would've accepted you I thought you and Aayla were good together we could've all been something" he shouted but I shook my head "every choice she makes I'll be right beside her" I told him he frowned as he prepared to charge "I think Ventress would like a strong apprentice so why don't you prove to her you can kill me without that lightsaber".

Vos lifted the lightsaber up and turned it off and placed it on his side "very well" he said as he charged I did put expect that so I was pushed to the floor as he began punching my helmet I knew it would come eventually. He screamed with very punch he was so powerful it didn't matter I had a helmet on I could still feel a lot of pain. He managed to knock my helmet off and began punching my face I was defenceless I could feel immense pain in my fore head and floor came out of my nose and mouth back as he prepared to punch again he was forced pushed off me into the cave wall. I turned and saw Secura laying there breathing heavily sorrow filled her eyes. I looked over the edge and Vos was no where to be seen we had to leave I grabbed my helmet.and walked toward Aayla I helped her off the ground and embraced her she hugged tight she was cold I needed to get her out of here before we freezes to death.

As we walked over toward the pillar with the exit she took a run up and jumped off she barley managed to get on just holding on to the edge of the ledge she then used the force to bring me over to the other side once she was up we both then got out of there.
