Chapter 4 lair of grevious

(Aayla's perspective)
(Year 9 bjp) (year 9 years before Jedi purge)

Me and Bly have worked together for a year now we argue sometimes but for the most part we work well together me and Bly are in a gunship which is heading to the lair of grevious on Vassek me and Bly are going to meet up with a close friend of mine Kit Fisto he sits on the council like me. We fought together many times before the clone wars he is here because he has apparently been here before with his former apprentice who died here along with all the clones which just fills me with confidence. The gunship landed and the doors landed but before we steeped out ordered the pilots "stay here and take off if there is any trouble don't wait for us" I ordered "yes sir" they both said. I looked to see Kit and his commander which I didn't know the name of yet looking over the cliffs edge. Me and Bly headed over toward them and once I got close enough so Kit could here my footsteps he turned around "Aayla" he said holding out his arms he hugged me and I hugged him back. "It is so good to see you" he said smiling in a enthusiastic voice "it's only be a few months Kit" I said smirking and rolling my eyes. "Well for me it's been an eternity" he said placing his right hand on his face.

In the corner of my eye I could see Bly looking very uncomfortable and rubbing his neck then Kit's commander coughed to get his attention "sorry" he said looking at the commanders he then turned back to me looking into my eyes "you and me will catch up later" he said smiling with a deep voice. He then turned to his commander and pointed at him "this is commander Monnk" he saluted me "general Secura" he said as his hand went down "Monnk" I smirked at him and then Kit's smiled disappeared as he looked at Bly for some reason I don't know why and in a voice that didn't seem to care that much he pointed at Bly and said "and who is this" not even a faint smile touching his face. "I'm General Secura's commander of the 327th commander Bly" Bly introduced himself and saluted the nautlon Jedi master.

"Alright follow me" he said not giving Bly any respect in return Monnk followed his general and I looked at Bly and he shrugged and smiled faintly "I'm sure he just needs to get to know you better" I reassured and then I heard Kit call my name "Aayla over her" he calls me and I nod to Bly to follow me. Kit presses a rock and the door opens to reveal the lair of grevious.

We enter and walk in silence for awhile we head to the end of the corridor which leads into a big room with a chair but no one sat on it there were 3 different way to go "which way Kit?" I smirk at Kit awaiting an answer. "Well I'm not actually to sure so I think we should split up and head off in pairs" okay he doesn't know the way that is great news so I look at Kit and reply "okay so I'll go with Bly and you go with Monnk" I suggest but Kit look turns to slight anger "actually Aayla how about you and me go together and Monnk goes with your commander" Im very confused why is he doing this and why is he not calling Bly by his name I don't know why he is acting like this. "But Kit no offence to the clones but I don't think they can take on grevious by themselves besides I work well with Bly and I presume you work well with Monnk" but this suggestion only seems to anger Kit I don't know what his damn probably is but it better change as I'm not having this as it is a very important mission and he can't be acting like this. Before anyone can say anything else Monnk gets a transmission from Obi wan Kenobi "ahh commander Monnk are your generals there" he questions wearing his armour that most of the Jedi having including Fisto but I decided against it. "Yes general they are both here" Monnk replied "well tell them not to try and capture grevious and that probably won't work believe me I've tried so I suggest to destroy him I know it's not the Jedi way but he is a real monster there is no time to waist" and with that his hologram is gone and then I feel Kit grab my arm and pull me to the door on the left across the bridge "come on general Kenobi said no time to waist" he pulled me away from the clones so I thought I might aswell go along with it there was no point in fighting kit as we were wasting precious time.

We went through the door and the clones were gone he let go at me and I gave him a disapproving look he looked at me surprised "what" he moaned as we walked down the dark corridor. "What is wrong with you your acting strange" he then he acted stupid "what are you talking about" he said blankly. "What is wrong with me going with Bly as we know each other really well over these past few ye—" he decides then to annoy me by rudely interrupts "I know you better then the clone ever could" he clenched his fists at just his name I don't know what his issue is but he better sort it out. We walk in silence he has changed and I don't like this new Fisto I wonder what happened to him maybe it's something I did or maybe it's something that Bly did. "General Secura General Fisto" Bly says over my com panicked "what is it Bly" I reply wondering what in the galaxy is going on "it's Monnk he's been severely wounded".

(Bly's perspective)

Kit pulled my general out of the room what seemed like by force so I turned to Monnk and spoke in slight anger "what the hell is his problem" and Monnk shakes his head "I don't know I've never seen him act like this before it might be her or you that's the issue" I took my rifle off my hip and went over to the door on the far right and I didn't really want to think about it if I'm being honest Monnk followed close behind me. It was just a short walk down the dark corridor in silence Monnk had his light on while I had my night vision above my head over my visor. It was silence and then he heard a crash we both pointed our rifles pointing down a dark corridor where the sound came from it sounded like metal recreating with metal. "What was that" Monnk whispered to me "I don't know but I—" then all we heard was a loud screech followed by me getting pushed against the wall by a metal foot and the sound of a lightsaber slicing something or someone. I looked up to see the huge figure running away I looked over at Monnk who was on the wall opposite me he had a giant lightsaber cut on his chest which pierced his armour it went from the very end of the left side of his chest all the way over to the right side of his shoulder.

I ran over to him "Monnk" I said worried he was unconscious so I got on the com so I could speak to the Jedi "General Secura General Fisto" I say trying to keep calm "what is it Bly" she replies "it's Monnk he has been severely wounded". "What?" I hear Fisto shout "how could you let this happen did you do this" he questioned me and I heard Secura say in a harsh tone toward him "Kit" and then there was a pause as she sighed "where are you Bly".

"I went to the door opposite you and I'm just down the corridor you will see me once you get here" thanks Bly" I heard her reply as the com turned off as she and general Fisto were coming. Within no time they were there and right next to Monnk's side. Kit gave me a death stare and snarled at me what is his fucking problem with me he is treating me like Bantha crap. "Because you got him injured you will carry him back while me and Aayla sort out your mess" he said angrily while pushing me away "Kit this is your fault I told you that you should've gone with Monnk anyway we need to get out of here and Kit your the only one to strong enough to carry him by yourself" her eyes begged him and with some resistance he touched the left side of her face "anything for you" the creep said as he picked up Monnk staring at me again.

We ran out of the place heading toward the exit and Aayla told the pilots to start up the gunship he arrived outside the gunship waiting we all got and General Fisto places down Monnk and as we began to lift up he heard 2 blaster shots we all looked out to see the droid general himself holding a blaster it means he must have killed the pilots. Aayla started up her lightsaber but Kit then embraced her "don't worry Aayla I'll protect you" he said holding her tightly but I decided to just these to the cockpit as he began firing at us I moved the dead pilot out of the way and got in the front cockpit but I only had half control I wasn't an experienced flyer but I knew a bit we got higher off the ground but it didn't stop the droid general from firing at us. I then heard someone get in the second cockpit I looked and saw General Fisto and he closed the doors as we took off away from this crap planet.
