Chapter 9 Fisto's trial

(Bly's perspective)

The trial was about to begin I was walking there with Aayla since I had to give evidence and so did she. As we were walking there we were escorted by Coruscant guard who I hate and I don't even need to explain myself. I didn't look at them or talk to them we just walked Aayla didn't talk much but that was understandable as we got there General Windu was there "ahh Aayla I'm so sorry" he said but his expression never changed to a face of sympathy it was just his normal plain expression. "Thank you master" she said bowing her head slightly general Windu then turned his attention to me I didn't have my weapon on me since I wasn't allowed but I had my armour except my helmet on me. "Look after her will you" a slight smirk reaching his lips "of course sir" I said saluting him. The Chancellor's pod rose up and with that the Coruscant guard stepped back out of our pod and made Windu looked at me and Aayla "good luck" he said stepping out of our pod and I heard Aayla say quietly "thank you".

"We shall begin" The chancellor announced putting his hands in the air and there was silence in the room for him "this is case is about the rape of Aayla Secura by Kit Fisto" as he said that Aayla looked down embarrassed hiding her face I put a hand around her "it's okay" she smiled faintly showing her face. "We will go over the evidence and have a word with both Aayla Secura and Kit Fisto speaking of which here he is now" Fisto's pod came out he was stuck on a chair similar to the one on the ship but his mouth wasn't covered this time he was surrounded by 2 Coruscant guard and 2 senate guard. Aayla didn't look at him she ha close all respect for him by the looks of it.

(Aayla's perspective)

As he came out I didn't look at him to think one of my closest friends had to turn into such a monster was horrible to see. Bly kept me company which was great I really appreciated him comforting me as I needed him more then ever. The chancellor then relayed everything he knew so far "Kit Fisto is accused of raping Aayla Secura on Florrum and CC-5052 or commander Bly was a witness to this they engaged in combat with Kit Fisto being knocked out by the commander with his helmet" as he finished I grabbed Bly's arm I didn't even realise it at first until I noticed him staring at me "sorry" I said removing my arm "it's fine your going through a lot right now it's understandable" he replied I felt so lucky to have a person like Bly by my side he seemed always to know what to say.

"Aayla Secura do you mind telling us your half of the story" the chancellor said looking at me our pod flew out closer to the chancellor's so everyone could see us. I was shaking but I knew I could do this "we had just had dinner and me and Kit both cleaned up but when I went to leave the tent Kit stopped me he pushed me against the wall and began to rape me" my voice trembling on the last word but at least that part was over with. "What did he do during the rape" Palpatine ordered I carried on "he left bruises on my wrists and neck until Bly came in to stop it" I heard gasping and people talking amongst themselves. "Do you have images of these bruises?" I turned on the hologram and on everyone's pod there was a image of my wrists and neck. Senator Tikkes then spoke up "how do we know it wasn't the clone?" More chats began in the room I looked up at Bly he was mad he really didn't like them calling him a rapist and I couldn't believe that they would blame Bly for this he was my friend we would never do something like this but then again I thought the same about Kit"

(Bly's perspective)

How dare they I would never do anything to hurt General Secura not in a million years I was furious. The chancellor then looked down at me "well clone are you a rapist?" This made me really angry so I defended my self and shouted at the chancellor. "I would never do anything to hurt my General and I can't believe you are accusing me of being a rapist" there was silence in the room and shocked expressions I couldn't believe it the person I was meant to be most loyal to I just shouted out in rage but I had to calm down I wasn't going to get anywhere by shouting at people "sorry I was talking with Vaughn while walking back to the camp I forgot my helmet so I had to go back" the Chancellor's disgusted expression disappeared as he kept speaking "and can he confirm this". "Yes" I replied he then raised his eyebrows "can with speak with him" Certainly" I put in the hologram and Vaughn appeared.

"Vaughn can you confirm that you were talking with Commander Bly after dinner and he went back to get his helmet" the Chancellor demanded getting straight to the point. "Yes I can sir and Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura stayed behind". "Thank Vaughn that will be all" the Chancellor ordered as the captain's hologram disappeared as the trial carried on "so Kit Fisto what is your half of the story" the ordered looking him dead in the eyes. I looked at Fisto filled with anger and Fisto looked down in shame he knew he wasn't getting out of this. "All what they have said is true and I'm truly sorry i just love her to much"

(Aayla's perspective)

A tear came to my eye my friend the person I thought I could trust raped me and he just admitted it "so not only have you raped Aayla Secura you also disobeyed the Jedi code by falling in love" Kit had nothing to say his eyes filled with shame and regret. "I don't think we'll need to have a break he has admitted to being guilty so therefore I will give him a slightly lighter punishment can all the senator's please vote guilty or innocent" as he said that all the senators got to voting and as they did this I felt an arm go around my waist Bly held me close he felt bad for me "it will be okay Aayla" he whispered I felt so lucky I could have someone I could trust right by my side and for once he actually called me Aayla that is how much he cares. The chancellor then spoke softly to me so only and Bly could hear it "it's okay darling it will be over soon" I thanked him as the senators finished voting.

"And with a 93% to 7% the senate finds Kit Fisto guilty of raping Aayla Secura I punish him with 30 years in the republic's high security prison".
