Lucas' POV:

We walked to art class together. I wondered why people were so mean to her. It wasn't her fault her dad was a murderer.

We walked into art class. We both sat at the same table. That caused everyone to stare. My face got red. I stood up.
"Mind your own business, you assholes." I yelled to everyone.

Everyone turned back to what they were doing. Good thing the teacher wasn't in here to hear what I said.

Soon the art teacher, Ms. Walker, walked in. She had purple hair and was really young. That just mean't she could stoop down to our level, teenagers.
"Okay everyone, I'm handing you a big piece of paper. Grab a partner then find a paper and sit at it." She said.

The room was chaos. Ella gave me a hopeful look.
"D-d-do you think you could be my partner?" She asked.
"Of course." I said.

We went to a different table and sat there. She had a big smile on her face. Adorable.
"Okay. Do a piece of artwork and remember to put your names at the bottom." She said.

We grabbed a bunch of paint brushes. We sat back at our table. Oh yeah. Paint. I got back up and got some paint.

We painted an alien on a camel. It kinda looked jacked up, but Ms. Walker loved it.

Ella's POV:

Are painting looked horrible. I just couldn't stop looking at him. He had these beautiful, mysterious green eyes. I'm finding out that a lot of people are attracted to the eyes.

What am I saying? I'm not attracted to him. Or am I? No you can't. He's going to make new friends and meet a prettier girl. Then leave me in the dust.
"Okay everyone! Back to your seat." Ms. Walker said.

All of a sudden a boy yelled from across the room. I think his name was Peter.
"Ms. Walker! I can't sit here!"
"Why can't you?" She asked.
"A murderer sat here." He said.
"And who might that be?" She asked.
"Ella. Ella Daniels. She's a murderer just like her father!" Peter yelled.

Tears were streaming down my face. I couldn't see at all. All of a sudden, Lucas stood up.
"She is not a murderer! She is a sweet girl. But no! None of you will ever find out because you people judge too quickly!" Lucas said.
"Whatever new boy. How would you know? You just moved here today." He said.
"I talked to her! You never did." Lucas said.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the classroom. I gave him a big hug.
"Thank you for that." I said.
"Always."
