Insecurity

Chapter 7

Ella's POV:

I woke up in a hospital bed. There was a few people standing around me. My dad and Lucas. They had sympathy plastered on their faces.

My dad walked out, and it was just me and Lucas. He smiles. His hands are in his front pockets. His eyes have a look of sympathy.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Well, three days ago I found you on the sidewalk, right outside the woods. I saw blood, so I took you to the hospital. The doctor said you must have hit your head on something. Do you remember what happened that day, Ella?" He said.
"I-"
I started crying.
"It was horrible. Why did it have to happen to me? Why does everything happen to me?"
"Wait. Slow down. What happened?" He questioned.
"I can't tell you."
"It can be our secret. I won't tell anyone."
"Okay. I- I- I had sex with someone."
Tears were flooding out.
"What! You cheated on me?" His voice rose.
"N-no. It was against my will. I was forced to!"
"You were raped?" He whispered. I nodded.
"Oh Ella!" He came in for a hug, but I pushed him away.
"D-d-don't touch me please." I whispered.
"It's okay. I understand. Who did this to you?"
"Um. Um. I think his name is Lee. He goes to our school." I looked at the floor.
"I'll get you justice. I promise." He said.
"No! Lucas! Please don't!" I pleaded.
"I'm sorry, Ella. He can't get away with this!" He said walking out of the room.
