Ella's POV:I jumped on my trampoline with my phone in my hand.(Yes. I still have a trampoline.) I felt my phone vibrate. It was Lucas.
Lucas: Hey! Call me!I called him while still jumping. He answered after the 3rd ring.
"Hey." I said out of breath.
"Hello. Why are you so out of breath?"
"I'm jumping... on my... trampoline."
"No way! You still have one of those!" He yelped.
"Totally!"
"I'll be over in a few." He said. I could hear his smile.
"Okay?!"Soon enough, he was there. We were jumping on the trampoline, holing hands.
We were laughing most of the time. I even heard him snort. It made me laugh. We sat on the trampoline after awhile.
"Do you ever wonder why were in this world?" I asked Lucas while looking up at the sky.
"Yeah. I do. At least were here. Maybe we all have a purpose." He said with a slight smile.
"Maybe." I whispered. We walked inside while taking off our dirty, black socks. We then washed our hands.
"Are my pants black?" I asked.
"A little bit, but not that much." He replied.
"That sure took you awhile. Where you looking at my ass?" I asked.
"Maybe. You're the one who asked to look at your pants. You had it coming." He chuckled.
"Yeah. I know." I gave him a slight hug.
"Where's you're dad?" He asked.
"At work. He's working a lot these days."
"Can you show me around, my lady?" He asked bowing.
"Of course, good sir." I replied copying his accent.I pulled his hand to the living room. There were red curtains hanging from the window sill. Brown carpet covered the floor. A 42" TV stood on the dark oak TV stand.
I dragged him to my room. It was still like it was when I was five. Butterfly stickers were all over my pink wall. My twin sized bed was in the corner.
The comforter was pink with purple butterflies. I had a bookshelf by the window that had all my favorite books. Each one made me smile.
"This is an interesting room. Do you have a little sister?" He said with eyes wide.
"No. It's mine."
"Oh," was all he said.I showed him the bathroom and my dad's room. It was a small house. It also had a spare bedroom in the back.
We sat on the couch watching TV.
"Hey Ella?" He asked.
"Yeah?" I said looking at him.
"Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" He stuttered.
"I would love to. Where will we be going?" I said smiling.
"The park. Maybe we could have a picnic?"
"That sounds amazing!" I yelped.
"Pick you up at 5:00." He said as he walked out the door. He pecked my lips.
__________________________Lucas' POV:
I made my way to her door. The picnic basket was in my hand with a blanket on top. I knocked. The door opened. To my surprise, I saw her dad.
"Hello son!" He said guiding me into the house.
"Hello sir."
"So you like my daughter, do you now?" He asked with his eyebrow up.
"I do. Very much sir." He said smiling.
"First of all, she deserves respect. That's what she'll get. Oh, and bring her home by 10:00. That's her curfew." He said with no emotion except love of course.
"I will sir. She means the world to me." I said beaming. She came out. She was wearing a teal, ruffled dress. She had brown cowboy boots. Her hair was curled and her makeup was perfect. She was gorgeous.
"You are beautiful." I gasped.
"Thank you!"
"Shall we go?" I asked.
"Of course. Bye daddy! Love you!"We walked out the door and got into my car. We drove to the elementary school playground. When we got there, we had a race to the field beside the playground.
She won of course. I had to carry stuff. I set the blanket out. We both sat on it. I opened the basket and got the food out.
We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with koolaid. She ate like a pig, and it was adorable. I could tell she was trying to eat sophisticated, but it didn't work.
After eating I handed her a napkin.
"You're gonna need this." I clarified.
"Whatever!" She yanked the napkin out of my hand. When she was done cleaning her face, we went to play on the playground. We didn't care that we were to old to play on playgrounds. They were too fun to not play on them.
We swung on the swings. I swung higher. We did "the train" while sliding down the slide. She stayed in front of me as we slid down.
We played hide and seek. Don't get me started on how she's a big cheater. I swear she peaked.
After that, we were all tired out. We laid on the blanket and looked up at the clouds. We pointed out the shapes of the clouds.
We both saw a heart at the same time. We started laughing. We looked at each other and stopped laughing. Time stood still.
Are faces drew closer and closer together until are lips touched. It was a passionate kiss full of love. It was slow and meaningful.
As time passed are kisses became faster. Soon it became a make out session. She stopped.
"What's the matter?" I asked.
"I got to go pee!" She said.I chuckled. There was no bathroom in sight. We packed up the stuff and left.
__________________________
I walked her to her door. We held hands, swaying them side to side. We said nothing, hoping the time would never end.
The porch lights started flickering.
"That's my dad. I got to go." She said with her eyes all depressed.
"Okay. Talk to you tomorrow."I pecked her lips and started walking off the porch. She went inside. This has been one of the best days in my life. I think I'm in love.
