Chapter 16

Lucas' POV:

Ella's family had been so nice to me. Her father and I were a little ruff around the edges, but I'm trying to work that out.

Ella had been really moody lately. She gets mad or sad at the littlest things. She's still throwing up. She hated standing up because it made her feel nauseated.

She also pees a lot and I mean a lot. It's not even funny. It really sucks, and I feel sorry for her. At least after all this we'll have a little baby.

Sometimes she got angry at me for little things. I just backed off and let her cool down.

Ella's POV:

"Sweetie? Can you go get me some watermelon?" I asked. I sat beside him, waiting for an answer.

His fingers moved with the controller. He was playing some sort of shooting game.
"But babe, I'm playing this game. Can I just finish this level.?" He argued.

All of a sudden, I started crying. I really wanted watermelon. He seemed to sense my tears because he took his focus off of the game to look at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I just want watermelon." I cried.
"Okay, okay. I'm going to get you some watermelon from the store. Okay. You sit here, relax." He said getting up from the couch. I heard the door close as I slumped into the couch.

I sat there thinking Lucas is so sweet through all this. He makes sure I'm happy and comfortable. If I need anything, he'll get it for me. My mind shifted.

I feel so bad for cheating on him. I'm never going to tell him. He is the one. I intend on being with him forever. How's he going to know anyway? I trust Dylan.

When he got home, he cut up the watermelon. I ate 3 slices. The juice was all over mouth. I wiped it off. Watermelon was one of the only foods that didn't make me throw up.

I wore sweatpants and a school spirit shirt. My hair was in a messy bun. Lucas must really love me.

We sat on the couch watching an action movie. I wasn't really paying attention to it though. Lucas was my main focus.

I was just gazing at him. I snuggled up closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his stomach. His warmth penetrated me. It made me want to snuggle my face into his arm like a cat. I looked up at him. This time he was looking at me too.

Are lips meant.
"You are so turning me on right now." I said between kisses.
"All I'm doing is sitting."
"Take me to another planet Lucas."
"As you wish."
As with that, he took off my shirt.

We woke up in the morning on the couch. My neck was aching. I looked over to Lucas to see if he was awake. Sure enough, he was.
"Morning baby. Or shall I say babies." He said putting his hand on my stomach. I giggled.
"Oh! That reminds me!" He said.

He got up and walked over to the kitchen. He grabbed a bag and handed it to me. I slowly took it.

I opened it to find a little teddy bear. It wore a red necktie.
"It's for the baby." He said.
"Aww. You're the best boyfriend and daddy ever." I got up and gave him a hug.
"You want to finish that movie that we started last night?" He asked.
"Fine by me!" I said jumping back on the couch.
