Momo could've called herself out from a mile away before she even said yes to Mina's invitation to go to a frat party. Why she even agreed to go was beyond her. She didn't like drinking, she wasn't looking to hook up with anyone, and she found most frat boys to be insufferable douche bags as most of them kept trying their luck with her well after she had rejected them. She once had the same guy hit on her seven different times in one night. To be fair he was drunk for the last three, but seriously. She said no once already. He just needed to fuck off.

Of course, it wasn't Mina's fault that she was in the situation she was currently struggling with. Her pink-haired friend always went to events like this and had no problems taking care of herself (she once got in the local news for beating up a guy who touched her boob after she told him a hundred times that she just wasn't that into blonds). But Momo was different.

Sure, she knew how to say no and she did it more often than people thought, but if a guy decided he didn't like her answer, there wasn't much she could do about it. She wasn't a fighter. She didn't know how to punch people in the face, and though Mina had repeatedly suggested to her that she get mace, Momo had never really seen a time when she would use it, and she worried someone might think unfavorably of her if they saw it in her bag. In general, she just chose not to put herself in risky situations.

But now she was wishing she had bought the mace. If not for the actual purpose of temporarily blinding someone, just for the threat. But no, Momo being Momo, she never thought she'd end up at a frat party being chased around by a group of guys who thought she was "too pretty to let go that easy."

"Oh, c'mon sweetheart," One of the guys moaned the word sweetheart in her ear, his alcohol-laden breath fanning her ear and sending a disgusted shiver down her spine as she tried to make her way to the kitchen. "Just one dance, I promise." She shook her head, muttering a quick 'no' as she pushed her way through the crowds of people that had gathered in the marble frat house for a booze-filled night of grinding against strangers. Gross.

"No thank you," She said for what seemed like the hundredth time, these guys starting to get on her nerves as she neared the kitchen. There weren't many people in there, just a very drunk girl who could barely stand up straight, but even she was quickly collected by one of her friends who was hopefully rushing her to a hospital.

A slight feeling of unease overtook her as she realized she had just cornered herself in an empty room with three buzzed guys who had been relentlessly trying to pick her up all night and hadn't taken no for an answer the first seventeen times. But she told herself that he fear was irrational because things like this didn't happen to her, right? She just tightened her jaw as she went over to the sink to refill her plastic cup with water. She suddenly regretted leaving Mina and the rest of the guys to bicker about who was winning at beer pong.

"Babe, don't be so uptight, we just wanna have some fun with you," One of them brushed her shoulder with a sweaty hand and she flinched away, trying her best to act oblivious to the fact that the three guys seemed to be enclosing her in a half-circle, trapping her against the marble countertop. "Why don't you just give us a chance?" Her throat closed up when she felt his hand place itself firmly on her waist. This couldn't be happening to her. Not to her.

"No. I said no. Please leave me alone," She said the last part softer as she heard one of them grunt in frustration behind her. They clearly weren't liking the answer she was giving them, and if she had to guess, they wouldn't take an answer unless they liked it.
