"Are you...watching me sleep?"
"No."
"You so were."
"Was not."
"Was too."
"Shut up, Jay."
"Aww, come here, pup!"
Carlos laughs when Jay, still half asleep, grabs at him and tugs him close. It's early, too early for either of them on a Saturday. He had only woken up because Jay cuddled in his sleep and Carlos was a sweltering mess. Once he had planned on getting up for some cool air, he had stopped long enough to just watch Jay's chest rise and fall as he breathed.
"That's so creepy in a romantic way."
"Seriously, shut up!"
Jay wraps his legs around Carlos' waist and prevents him from leaving, kissing his shoulder. "Am I sleeping beauty?"
"With that morning breath? Hardly," Carlos rolls his eyes but still smiles when Jay noses at his neck. "Your bed head is pretty cute though," he kisses the top of his boyfriend's head and plays with Jay's hair as he falls back asleep, still curled into Carlos' chest.
