When Maleficent broke news to the VK's that they were going to Auradon Prep and that they would steal Fairy Godmother's wand - as if they could argue with the head alpha - they decided they would pile up in their hideout for one more night before getting whisked away to another land.
Evie had bit her lip to contain the squeals that almost slipped from her mouth, knowing it would only add to Mal's annoyance. Instead she retreated to her room later, choosing to yell her excitement into her pillow before she met with the others that night. She had swayed around her room, twirling over and over thinking of herself dancing in an actual ballroom with actual royalty. The thought of seeing beautiful princesses and handsome princes - though Mal would always be the most perfect person she had ever laid eyes on - kept her up most of the night, replaying her ideas of elegant gowns and proper walking, the manners and cleanness that each castle would hold. She knew they would look so beautiful in color and living, much more than her and her mother's run down, grimy, home.
Mal sat at her desk, pushed into the farthest corner of the bedroom, tapping her pencil anxiously against the spell book her mother had given her. If she wanted to be successful in stealing the wand, she needed a well thought out plan, and then two more back up plans incase things didn't work out - knowing Maleficent would tear her to shreds with her bare teeth if she failed. She studied over the spell book well into the night, crumbled up paper and multiple broken pencils were scattered around her when Evie went to fetch her, coaxing Mal to the hideout and into getting a few hours of sleep.
Carlos was the first that arrived at the hideout, later that day, having a single small trash bag of belongings that didn't take him long to pack, in fact it took him longer to get away from Cruella and her whining of him not being able to do everything for her. With Carlos sitting in the silence alone, it gave his thoughts time to swirl around. On the Isle, he was Jay's and Jay was his, but going to a new place, with new omegas.. What if Jay found someone better? Someone who obeyed better and didn't press their luck with the alpha every chance they got. Someone who would kneel quicker than Carlos could, someone who loved better than Carlos did. It took him nearly 10 minutes to realize he was purring, alone in the silence of the room, purring to try and calm himself before he full on dropped. He grabs one of Jay's vests that he left stored in the hideout in case of times like this and shoves his face in it, breathing in the scent of his alpha deeply before he curls into a tight ball, whining to himself.
Jay went around terrorizing the town as much as he possibly could his last night on the Isle, he wanted them to remember him and still fear him even from Auradon. Once he had successfully ran through every corner store, he makes his way to the sign, tossing a rock against the metal that would make the gate rise up for him. He took two stairs at a time, bouncing excitedly into the room the four of them had shared for years now, the smile quickly fading when he heard soft grunts coming from behind the couch.
"'Los?" Jay speaks softly, walking to Carlos' small body, wrapping his arms around him. "What's wrong pup?"
Carlos sniffs, rubbing his face against the warmth of Jay's neck, the scent of musk and sweat filling his head. He opens his mouth to speak but closes it quickly, moving to cling onto Jay as his purring got louder.
"You're scared aren't you?" Jay sighs when he feels Carlos' head rub against him, nodding. "It'll be fine, pup. We'll be there with you, you won't be alone."
"Don't wanna lose you." Carlos whispers, controlling his purrs long enough to speak.
Jay's chest rises and falls heavily under Carlos, picking him up bridal style. "You will never lose me." Jay promises, walking them around to the front of the worn out couch in the middle of the room. He lays Carlos down, settling in between Carlos' thighs, placing both hands on either side of Carlos' face. "Okay?" Jay bumps their noses together when Carlos nods again, still sniffling.
"What if-"
"Shh," Jay presses his lips against Carlos', stopping his sentence. "No what 'if's', alright? I'm yours and you are mine, remember?"
Carlos feels the heat spread across his cheeks, rubbing his nose down Jay's jawline to his neck, pressing his teeth against the tan skin.
Jay growls lowly, dipping his head down. "Want me to remind you? So everyone in Auradon can see you're off limits."
"Please," Carlos whines out, exposing his neck to Jay, who licks his lips and looks at Carlos with dark eyes.
Jay kisses up and down Carlos' collar bone and neck a few times before pressing his nose against his scent gland, inhaling the floral scent he loved so much. He trails his nose up to Carlos' ear whispering "Mine" before gnawing on Carlos' earlobe, earning a quiet whine. Jay peppers soft kisses back down his neck, giving a wet sloppy kiss to the junction between Carlos' neck and shoulder - preparing him for the pain that was to come. He blows cold air against the slick, nudging his head softly against Carlos, asking for silent permission. Carlos nods once, bucking his hips up into Jay's front swiftly. Jay growls again, pressing his teeth into freckled skin, biting and sucking and licking all at the same time until he can taste blood. Carlos hisses in pain and delight, squirming and nearly howling under Jay.
"All mine," Jay licks the bite mark once more, leaning up to admire his work and the forming bruise.
"Yours." Carlos mumbles back, looking up at Jay with squinted eyes. He reaches forward, wrapping his long fingers behind Jay's neck, pulling him back down to Carlos, crashing their lips together.
There's metal clanging and clanking before the door opens, Mal and Evie walking in the room unfazed.
"Gross, it reaks of arousal in here." Mal grumbles, walking past the couch where the two boys were still making out.
"Let them be," Evie's voice is soft, following closely behind Mal. "Jay just wants everyone to know his claim." Mal stops walking, turning to face the blue haired girl. Evie smiles lovingly, moving to cup Mal's cheek. "We will pull this off Mal, we are all with you. We're behind you, us four forever." Mal hums, leaning into Evie's hand, letting her eyes flutter shut for a moment.
"Let's blow this popsicle stand."
