"Where the hell have you been?" Stefan asks
"Silas freaking kidnapped me. Kidnapped me! I'm so going to kill all of them right now." I start to make my way back out the door
"We don't even know where they took you. How'd you even find a way here?" Elena adds
"They live down the street. Down the fucking street. Kind of genius if you ask me."
"How?" Damon looks towards me
"Why would we look for them in the house down the street? That would be stupid of us which would make it a genius idea for them."
"That's the most dumbest thing I've heard." Damon voices his opinion
"Why did you hide the moonstone in the soap dish in your bathroom?" I ask
"Because no one would be stupid enough to look there."
I raise my brow at him
"Oh. I guess that is a genius idea. Well let's go kick some doppelganger ass!"
"Calm down. How was lunch with her today?" I look over to Stefan
"Oh, you knew about that?"
"Yep. Tell me what happened."
"We met at the grill and she was only there for a few minutes before she left. I basically just bargained something for you."
He looks from me down to his feet. He doesn't want to say what I already know so we just stand there in silence for just a second before I ask the dreaded question.
"You really do love her, don't you?" I step closer to him
He looks back up at me with a sad and guilt ridden face. I can tell when something is hurting him and I can tell just how much he loves her. I place my hand on his cheek and smile at him.
"It's okay, Stef. We can't help who we love. Even if it is Damon."
Stefan chuckles at my joke and Elena goes 'hey' obviously offended but laughs as well. I remove my hand from his cheek and I walk away. I get upstairs to my room and I hop into the shower. I have to get the smell of Amara's desperation and very bad lying off of me. There has to be a way to get Qetsiyah back on our side. I know why this all happened and it's because of Stefan kissing me last year. When I get out the shower I get ready and I head back downstairs.
"Guys, I'm going back." I grab my keys
Stefan speeds in front of me to block me from leaving. "I might love Qetsiyah but I love you too. You aren't going alone." He states
"Yes, I am. I'll be fine. I'm going to talk to Qetsiyah woman to woman."
I walk past Stefan and out the front door.
Silas's POV
After a few minutes I go to see if Katherine is okay. After a minute of looking I can't find her anywhere. I shout her name a couple of times and that's when Qetsiyah walks in the front door.
"Silas, what are you doing? Where is Katherine?" She taps her foot at me
I laugh nervously and rub my hand over my neck. "That's the thing. I think she's gone."
"How!? What happened?" She questions
"I don't know. Ask Amara." I basically snitch
"Amara!" She yells and Amara comes downstairs
"What's with all the yelling?" She asks
"What did you do? Katherine's gone."
"Well I didn't let her go. It's not my fault she's too sensitive." She reply
I scoff as I turn towards Amara.
"She's sensitive? The moment she made the slightest comment about me you go defensive. If it's anyone's fault that she is gone it's you." I snap
Amara moves towards me and places her hand on my cheek. "It's because I love you, you know that."
I slap her hand away and she steps back from me. She knows I hate when she does that.
"When we are around them, I'll pretend to love you. But when we are alone, I don't want you touching me or even talking to me."
"But, Silas." She moves back towards me
"No. I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible. I don't love you anymore, I want Katherine and it's always going to be Katherine."
I walk back upstairs leaving her alone with Qetsiyah. I listen into Qetsiyah getting onto her about how it's her fault Katherine got loose. The question is: How did Katherine gets past Qetsiyah's boundary spell? I stop listening when Amara walks out, slamming the door and she gets in her car and drives off. Qetsiyah comes into the room and sits next to me on the bed.
"I only want Stefan back, you know better than anyone how I feel." She starts
"Yes, but to threaten my child and Katherine was crossing the line. Like I've said numerous times, I should have killed you by now." I add
"Well, Silas. You do what you have to do to get what you want, and so do I. Even if it means threatening an innocent an child."
She gets up off the bed and goes to walk away. She stops when I ask her the question I haven't dared to ask.
"Is he worth it?"
She turns to me and smiles. "Is she worth it?" She counters
"Yes, yes she is."
Qetsiyah leaves the room and I sit there pondering how I'm going to make this all up to Katherine. How do I gain everyone's trust back? How do I get Qetsiyah what she wants? My thoughts are interrupted by loud knocking at the front door of the house. There is a pause before the next series of knocks. Eventually I hear as Qetsiyah opens the front door and there there is some silence.
"You came back, that was very stupid of you." Qetsiyah starts up
I hear another thing of silence before the other person speaks up and that's when I hear who it is. I walk out of the room and make my way to the top of the stairs. I look down and there is Katherine standing in the doorway.
"Katherine?"
I take in her difference of appearance than this morning. Her hair is down and curly. She wearing her usual leather jacket and black booties. I examine her body and she looks up at me as if she sensed I was taking in every inch of her.
"What are you doing here, Katherine?" I ask
She ignores me and looks back towards Qetsiyah. "Is Amara here?"
"No, why?" Qetsiyah looks back towards me and then back towards Katherine
"Good. Because we need to talk."
