Another Chance: As A Human 2

Chapter Eighteen: Chicago!

I run from Katherine's room down to the living room where Elena and my brother are making out. 

"Have you guys seen Katherine?" I ask 

They both turn to me and shake their head no. "Why?" 

"Some of her clothes are missing and Silas is up there with a broken neck." I run outside and her car is gone 

"Shit! No, no, no. She did not." Damon says from behind me 

"She did." I turn around to see Silas 

I speed towards him and throw him across the living room. His back hits back against the mantel of the fireplace and falls to the floor. I move towards him and pull him up my his shirt and I connect my fist to his face. Once, twice, three, four times. 

"Stefan, stop!" Elena yells from behind me 

I can hear her come behind me and I just flash her my vampire face and she backs up without another word. 

"That's right Stefan, let out all of your anger." He laughs 

I punch him one more time before Damon pulls me off of him. Silas just lays there, his face all bloodied and bruised. He face starts to heal and he just stays on the ground.  

"Are you done?" Elena asks 

"Yup." 

"Good. Now Silas, what happened?" She looks towards him 

Before he speaks he spits out the blood in his mouth on the floor. "I was waiting for her in her room and when she got up there she starting packing. She was leaving and I asked to go with her, anyway, the next thing I know she snapped my neck."  

"You somehow keep getting out of these situations without a scratch. Katherine should have killed you, I should have killed you. You just keep getting away with these things." I state the obvious 

"I guess I'm just a lucky guy. Good thing Katherine loves me or I would be dead right now." He winks 

I'm so going to strangle him right now. I go to move towards him before Damon speeds in front of me, blocking my way to him. 

"Calm down. He's not worth it, Stefan." 

"Yeah, Stefan. Calm down." Silas smiles 

With that statement Damon turns around and gives him his own punch. Silas's head cocks to the side at the impact of the punch, his jaw breaking. He pops it back into place with ease and adjusts his shirt. 

"Next person to punch me, is going to die. K?" He asks, sarcastically 

I turn away and grab my keys, running out the door. "Where are you going?" Damon asks 

"To find Katherine!" I shout to him 

"I'm coming with you!" Silas answers back 

Ugh. This guy just won't leave me alone. 

"Hey, you're the one that killed me. Be lucky the last thing I'm doing is being annoying." 

I just ignore him and get in the car, starting it. He gets into the passenger side and we drive off. We look all around town for her and she's gone, completely gone. I look over to Silas and he's looking out of his window. 

"Looks like we're going on a road trip." I say before I turn back to the road
