I drop my bag onto the floor and look around at the place I left just a couple of days ago. What's the sense of making a dramatic entrance if no one is here to see it. I swear- in mid-thought both Damon and Elena walk into the room and her jaw drops. Elena walks up to me and wraps her arm around my neck and hugs me.

"You're back! I'm so happy."

"I'm not back. Silas and Stefan back yet?" I ask, looking around

"No, they aren't. What are you doing here Katherine?" Damon asks

"Oh, I'm here to wreak havoc on the town until I get Silas to join me in this no humanity party. Speaking of, any of you want to join..." I look towards Elena "...I know no humanity Elena would love it. Don't think I forgot how badass you were." I wink at her

"Katherine... turning off your humanity wasn't the way to go. It's not great, I would know. When this is all over and you turn it back on all that guilt and pain will come flooding back in and you won't like it. I know I didn't."

She finishes her speech and I let out a little laugh. "I turned my humanity off and you find some way to make this about you. You really are something, Elena."

Before she could say something the front door flies open and I go across the room in someones half attempt to distract me. I get up and suddenly I am joined to the wall, I look up and of course, right on time.

"So which one are you? Silas... or Stefan?" I wonder

"Silas, the guy you love. Katerina...." A look of worry and love is shown through his eyes

"I don't love you. I don't love anyone. Matter of fact, I feel nothing. Now. Let. Me. Go."

"Okay, fine." He says, letting go of me

"That was too easy." I say walking towards the door

"Where do you think you're going?" Damon asks

"I know where I'm not wanted. So I'll take my leave."

Without grabbing my bag I walk towards the door and that's when another person walks in. I look up to see the familiar blue eyes that I have been running from for the past five hundred years.

"Klaus."

"Zdravei, Katerina." He smiles and that's the last thing before everything goes black.

I wake up on a cold hard floor. I look down at my legs and my pants are covered in red dirt and that's when I realize that I'm in the Salvatore's cellar. I just got these pants too. I muster all the strength I can but ultimately I fall to the ground. I hear a chuckle and I turn to the sound. I look up and see Klaus standing by the door.

"What are you doing here?" He asks

"Your little boyfriends invited me. It was quite weird when I saw Silas, him and Stefan... well you know." He answers

He walks over to me and bends down eye level near me. He looks at me up and down and smiles.

"I'm not allowed to kill you, but I can hurt you."

Klaus draws back his hand and plunges it into my chest. I can feel the tightening of his hand around my heart and the pain starts to register. I yell out in pain but say nothing.

"What? You're not going to beg for your life?" He cocks his head to the side

"Why should I? You can't kill me." I weakly laugh

"You're right, but one way or the other I'm going to get your humanity back on."

He pulls his hand out of my chest and reaches for the towel that I didn't noticed, and wipes the blood off. When he's looking at me, I can tell he is gloating.

"You know, Katherine? I think that there is someone who could change your mind."

He turns back towards the door as someone rounds the corner. I look at the clean suit and shiny shoes and I see those brown eyes I once loved. But they're the same brown eyes that betrayed me.

"Katerina."

Elijah starts off as he goes to touch my cheek, but I pull away before he can touch me. I just shake my head and laugh at this sad attempt at making me feel.

"You really think that a little school girl crush I had on Elijah way back when is going to turn it back on? Plus, I've seen this before. I'm all weak and you get in my head and make me imagine things... I know this all to well."

"I would conserve your voice if I were you. Not only did we bleed you out, we also vervained you. Your veins should feel like sandpaper in let's say... the next twenty-four hours." He smirks

"You talk a lot." I laugh

"Look, Katerina. I'm very real and I think you should listen to me." Elijah speaks again

"That's funny. You know Elijah, humor isn't really your spiel. You should stick to being the annoying, responsible, older brother." I insult him best I know-how

"I didn't come here to have you insult me. I came here to tell you that..." He pauses and looks up to Klaus and then back to me "...I still love you. And it's because I love you that I want to help you turn it back."

I just chuckle at the statement as I smile. "I don't want to turn it back on! I like being like this. Plus it's too late for your lies. Now get out of my head!" I shout

I wake up in a gasp and I look towards Klaus. He looks impressed but angry at the same time.

"I told you I wasn't stupid. Getting in my head won't work, nice try though." I wink at him

The look of impression quickly goes away and it's just the look of anger over his face. He comes over to me, grabs me by my neck and pins me against the cellar wall. His grip tightens as he raises me up higher.

"It's too bad you don't have any more family for me to kill, that would surely get that humanity switch back on. I'm not playing games anymore, Katerina."

I smile as I look at his hand on my throat. "Kinky." I wink once more

He drops me to the floor and I land with a hard thud. "If me inflicting pain on you or getting into your head won't work, then how about some reality?"

I watch as I see once again another shadow rounding the corner but except its a different person. I examine the woman with sandals, a long flowy dress, and brown eyes filled with crazy that I got rid of.

"Qetsiyah?"
