I don't own a lot of things. One of those things is Marvel. It's probably the thing I'm most sad about not owning, but I can't do much about it.

This was requested by like two people, so I'm combining their ideas into one. Hope you like it, you two! Enjoy!

Warnings: Peter feels abandoned, but it's not bad because he has a new family.

Peter was getting settled into family life with the Rogues when one day, Steve approached him.

"Peter, I have something I'd like to talk to you about."

Peter looked up from his science book, nervously scanning Steve for any hints of anger. "Yeah? What's up?"

He hoped it wasn't about how Peter refused to call Steve anything recently. He really, really wanted to call the man 'Dad,' but he wasn't sure Steve would like that. After all, he wasn't even properly adopted.

"I know it might be too soon, but you are a part of the family now." Steve took a breath. "I wanted to know if you would be okay with me adopting you."

Peter dropped his book. "R-really? You would really d-do that?"

Steve smiled gently. "Of course, Peter."

Peter jumped on the man, hugging him fiercely. "Yes, please!"

Steve laughed, hugging the teenager back.

"D-does this mean I can call you D-dad?" Peter mumbled into Steve's shoulder. Steve gasped softly, pulling the teen closer.

"I would be honored, son."

"Peter!" Wanda shouted as she ran into the room.

"Wanda!" Peter replied happily.

Wanda wrapped her little brother in a hug, squeezing tight. "Hey, little bro. I heard you got adopted by Steve."

Peter blushed. "Yep! I have a Dad again!" His face fell, "I sometimes still wish Tony hadn't forgotten about me. I forgave him, but it still hurts sometimes."

Wanda growled lowly in the back of her throat. "Don't worry, Petey pie. Steve would never forget about you."

Tony woke up from a deep sleep, thinking about Peter. He was an awful person, he knew that, but he regretted it. He had no excuse. After he found out Harley was lying, he sent the kid back to his mother.

A knock came from the door. Tony answered to be faced with Peter, surrounded by the Avengers.

"Mr. Stark? Can we come in?" Peter muttered shyly.

"Sure, kid. You are always welcome. I am so sorry." Tony stepped aside, feeling his heart clench from the way Peter attached himself to Steve.

"I-I forgive you. I told you that already, but Wanda thinks I'll feel better if I confront you, and I trust my big sister." Peter smiled softly at Wanda.

Tony nodded. "I deserve a lot worse than forgiveness, kid."

"I just don't understand! Did I do something wrong? Why did you push me to the side?" Peter's eyes were wet.

"I have no excuse."

"Just please tell me that it wasn't my fault..." Peter cried softly as he talked.

"It wasn't your fault, kid. It was all mine." Tony cried too, hating himself for what he did.

"Thank you, Mr. Stark."

The group left, Peter looking slightly happier, as if he had a weight lifted from his shoulders.

Even better, Peter thought, he had a family he could trust. He knew, he would never be forgotten or replaced again.

That was short, but I hope it covered all the bases for the two who requested it.

Bye!
