I got extra bored on the car ride, and instead of doing something productive like updating either of my stories or reading my summer reading book, I started writing an entirely new story where I turned COVID-19 into a post-apocalyptic society thing. And I still don't own Marvel.

It had been a few weeks since Peter was introduced to the Avengers. Harley and Peter were still going strong, adorably wrapped up in each other every moment of the day. Tony and Peter got along really well, and Tony became Peter's unofficial father-figure. He even started calling him "Uncle Tony," which to Peter was the equivalent of Dad.
Currently, Peter was sitting in Harley's lap, facing his boyfriend and playing with his hair as they talked.
"I told him that the movement of the atoms would be accelerated," Peter was saying, "but he didn't listen. That's his problem, now."
Harley laughed. "I love you."
They froze. Neither of them had ever said that before. Harley started panicking.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean-I mean, I meant it, but I wasn't going to-"
Peter slowly started smiling. He cut off his boyfriend with a kiss, and then snuggled into his chest. "I love you too."
Harley relaxed. The moment was interrupted by Nat coming into the room. Peter clambered off his boyfriend and gave his sort-of-mother-figure a hug.
"Peter, I have something very important to ask you." Nat said seriously. Peter frowned slightly and nodded as Harley came up behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist. As they were talking, the rest of the Avengers and their families walked into the room, all looking expectantly at Peter and Nat.
"I want to adopt you." Nat said.
Peter's eyes went wide. "Yes! I'd love that! Thank you so much!" He hugged her and laughed in her shoulder as everyone cheered.
They were surrounded by congratulations for a few minutes until Peter was heard giggling hysterically.
"Babe? You good?" Harley asked.
Peter turned to him, mirth shining in his eyes and responded. "Mama Spider and Baby Spider." He giggled again.
Harley and the kids all sighed. "Seriously, Pete?" Cassie asked.
"I mean, we sort of guessed, but-" Morgan started.
"Dude, why didn't you tell us?" Cooper interrupted.
Peter shrugged. "Never came up."
The kids laughed, the adults watching in confusion.
Nat watched him for a second, then her eyes widened almost imperceptibly and she smiled proudly. "You're Spider-Man."
Peter nodded, and the room exploded into chaos.
The End.
I hope you enjoyed!
