I don't own Marvel, but I'm pretty sure none of you do either, so I guess we have something in common! (If you do own Marvel...can we share? I just want a tiny piece...)

This was a request by @pets4president lovely name, btw. I hope you enjoy!

Warnings: violence, mentions of torture, the rogues are meanies.

Peter glared at Steve and stomped away. Everyone released a breath they had been holding. Just a few minutes before, Peter was about to kill him.

The rogues entered the tower the same way they left, and the same way they had entered it many times before—as if they owned it.

FRIDAY silently and reluctantly took them to the common floor, where Tony was waiting for them. He was wearing sunglasses, and had his hands shoved deep in the pockets of his pressed suit pants.

"Tony." Steve greeted.

"Rogers."

The use of his last name hit Steve in the gut. Tony had always called him Cap or Capsicle or some other play on words. He only used to call him Rogers when he was really upset.

"Tony. Can't we just move past this?" Steve have Tony a disapproving look.

Tony stiffened. "You—no. We can't just move past this."

As Steve was about to argue, the elevator dinged and a kid walked out. His head was down, and there were earbuds in his ears. The kid looked up suddenly.

"Instant Kill." The kid said. A black suit covered him, much the same way Tony's Ironman suit did, and the eye lenses glowed red. He stalked up to Steve, who was readying himself for a fight.

The kid didn't even give him a chance. He was beaten, bruised, battered, and against the wall in seconds. Not even Natasha could have made a move to save him.

"Peter!" Tony yelled. "He's not worth it."

Peter looked back at Tony, turned to Steve, and dropped him.

Now, the rogues turned to Tony to explain.

"Who was that?" Natasha asked.

Tony glanced over his shoulder. Peter was safely on the couch, his head in his hands. "That's my kid. Peter Parker. Also known as Spider-Man."

Steve looked like he was about to protest, but Natasha cut him off. "And What was that with the—" she waved her arm.

Tony sat down on the couch next to Peter and pulled the teen to his chest. Peter hugged him tightly and cried softly into his father-figure's shoulder. "Can I tell them?" Tony whispered. Peter nodded.

"Peter was kidnapped by HYDRA a long time ago. They gave him his powers, including that Instant Kill thing. He was tortured there for years, but I found and rescued him when he was 15. I've been helping him since. He wants to be a better person."

"Shouldn't have gone to you, then." Steve muttered, rubbing his shoulder but not seeming really sure that that was the place that hurt the most.

Peter sat up and glared at him. "Shut up about my dad. He's better than you will ever be." Peter left the room.

Natasha stared after him. She looked at Tony. "I like him."

Tony nodded. "I do too."

"I'm sorry."

"I know."

Tony and Natasha shook hands and Natasha went to her old room. Everyone else slowly apologized but Steve.

Steve stood up. "Tony. I can't believe—"

"I would watch your words, Rogers." Peter called from the doorway.

Steve glared.

"Steven Grant Rogers, you are no longer welcome in Avengers Tower." Peter continued, walking closer. "FRIDAY will escort you out. Fri?"

"Gladly." FRIDAY responded. She dropped guns from the ceiling, all pointed at Rogers and opened the elevator with an ironically cheerful chime.

"Bye bye, Rogers." The kid called sweetly as the doors closed.

The End.

I hope you enjoyed!

Bye!
