Peaceful Protest (request)

It's been like over a few weeks over a year since I first posted, I think. I went back to read some of my first posts, and I honestly don't even remember writing half of them. I didn't own Marvel back then, though, and I still don't now.

This was a request by @where_the_books_at. I hope you enjoy!

Warnings: police brutality, racism, violence. Also, a little bit crack-ish at the end.

Breaking News! Cop kills innocent black man during a break-in!

Shuri growled at the screen she was reading the news from. Peter glanced at her, a worried expression on his face.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"Read this." Shuri shoved the screen towards Peter violently and started pacing the floor. Peter noticed she seemed to be on the verge of tears. Ha focused on the article and read the title, "Cop kills innocent black man-" and Peter's vision turned red.

"Stupid-Can't we just treat people equally? This happens way too often!" Pete yelled.

"Exactly." Shuri glared at the article, having stopped her pacing.

"We need to do something about this." Peter resolved.

Shuri smirked. "And we will."

Breaking News! The Avengers stage a peaceful protest in New York City!

The Avengers had started a peaceful protest, and thousands of people joined in, holding hands and raising signs in support of Black Lives Matter. Peter, Shuri, MJ, and Ned were all sticking together, holding hands and protesting.

Suddenly, Peter's spidey-senses went off. He turned to see Cops throwing tear gas to disperse the crowds. People ran, and in the chaos, he got separated from the rest of the group. He ducked into an alley and changed into his Spider-Man suit quickly so he could swing above and find Shuri and the rest.

He found Shuri being man-handled by some cops trying to arrest her.

"Hey!" Peter yelled as he landed in his classic superhero pose. "Uno Reverse!"

He threw a tear canister towards the cops. MJ and Ned showed up then, and seeing the scene, did their best to help. The three teenagers started dancing and twerking violently.

The cop holding Shuri loosened his grip in shock, and Shuri slipped away.
