A college classmate had once told her, she could count money for three days and three nights straight. Cheng Huan agreed with her very much. The banknotes in front of her made a small pile, all different face value. She straightened them out one by one. Not only was she not tired, she felt more and more awake.

It was past midnight when she was done counting. After subtracting her cost, she had earned 1,600 yuan. Considering that this was just her first day and she didn't have much with her, she should be able to make more in the future!

Cheng Huan was quite pleased with her income. She carefully locked the money up inside of a drawer before she went to take a bath while she hummed. After she had bathed and finished with her skincare, she rolled into bed and gave XingXing a kiss on his little cheek before she turned the lights off.

Food business was certainly profitable, but also hard work.

It was almost 1 AM when Cheng Huan went to bed. She got up before 6 AM the next morning, rolled out some dough in the kitchen, and chopped up the stuffing. Seeing that XingXing was still asleep, she quietly left the house to buy ingredients.

The market was bustling in the morning. Cheng Huan visited several booths and bought fresh beef, lamb, pork, fish, several types of bean products, and vegetables and carried home all the loot.

XingXing was already awake when she got home, and he was trying to put a top on himself. He had been taught a lot during this time and now knew how to tell the front of a shirt from its back and would never again make the mistake of trying to put his head through the sleeve.

Seeing that he was handling the task perfectly, Cheng Huan didn't go to help him. Instead, she went over to the kitchen to turn the stove on to cook.

When she was done with breakfast, XingXing was already done washing his face and was in the process of putting on kids' lotion.

He squeezed some of the white lotion into his palm and rubbed them on both his cheeks and hands. When he was done with that, he clapped his hand, lifted them up to his nose to sniff, and ran over to Cheng Huan. Once in front of Cheng Huan, he stretched out all of his fingers and raised his hands up to her and said, "Mom, smells so good!"

Cheng Huan bent down, took a whiff as well, and said, "Mhmm, smells very good."

XingXing giggled happily.

Ever since Cheng Huan had bought him this kids' lotion, this has become his daily gig. Cheng Huan would entertain him everyday as that'd strengthen the relationship between the two of them.

On the dinner table, XingXing held onto his little bowl and scooped the content out from the inside.

The little wontons that Cheng Huan made in the daytime had thin dough and lots of stuffing. She had also added some dried shrimp in the soup and it tasted fantastic.

XingXing ate 20 wontons all by himself. When he was done, he wiped his mouth and burped.

Rubbing his own little tummy, he looked over at Cheng Huan and said, "Mommy, I won't go out with you today."

Cheng Huan hadn't planned on taking XingXing today, but she was surprised that he had volunteered that.. She put down the spoon in her hand, wiped her mouth, and asked, "Why is that?"

That was the question that XingXing was waiting for. He placed both of his hands on the chair, shook his legs back and forth, and said proudly, "Because I need to learn knowledge."

Cheng Huan: "......" Okay, that was pretty good self-awareness.

Once he learned that knowledge could turn into money, XingXing's passion for studying went up some more. He voluntarily ran over in front of Cheng Huan, counted from 1 to 100, and recited some mathematics problems such as 1+1 = 2.

It was certainly a good thing when a kid was fond of learning. Cheng Huan was quite happy about that. She taught him a simple poem and had him repeat after her a few times. When the little kid was focused on reciting the poem, she took a trip to the bank by herself.

After she had deposited the money, she needed to start preparing her ingredients at home. They needed to be cleaned, cut up, marinated, skewered, etc. Doing this could take up to half a day.

After she had prepared dinner, Cheng Huan bathed XingXing, she asked her neighbor to keep an eye out on him before she wooed the son who didn't want to part with her and headed up to her stall.

Things went much sooner on the second day. Cheng Huan had just finished arranging all of her ingredients and was about to take a sip of water and a small break before the first batch of customers arrived.

Seven or eight customers walked inside her coverings chattering. The one in front was topless with a gold chain. He walked over to Cheng Huan and said, "Hey, Boss, I have come back to help out your business again."
