"NOTHING, Margaret's just depressed 'cause she lost her necklace." Jerry answered Anne's question as the five of the teens found themselves back at the Cuthbert household. After the loss of Margaret's brand new necklace and the dramatic first meet between her and the boy from her unusual dream, Margaret managed to convince Jerry to speed up his usually detailed hunt for groceries as it seemed like it's going to rain. Though Jerry Maynard would never admit it out loud, he was grateful for having Margaret as his chaperone because if it weren't for her, they'd both be caught in the rain that now poured. On their way home, they ran into Anne, along with Lily and Gilbert.

"Oh, shut up before I take it all out on you!" Margaret warned as Gilbert placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, bringing her closer.

"Well it's true!" Jerry blew a raspberry in her direction as he sat cross-legged in front of the fireplace.

"No need to rub it in my face!" Margaret retorted, a slight feeling of deja vu washing over her as she recalled the last fight she and Jerry had. She watched as Lily entered the living room, plopping on the couch right beside Anne as she threw an arm around her shoulder. "Come on, Margaret. It's just a necklace." she shrugged. "Gilbert can buy you another one, he's gonna be filthy rich soon, anyways." she nonchalantly said, watching as Margaret's eyebrows furrowed. Lily looked around confusedly as everyone around her, besides Gilbert, shared a look of shock.

"What do you mean by that?" Margaret asked as she watched Lily's eyebrows raise. Lily looked over towards Gilbert, who had an exasperated expression.

"You didn't tell them?" the brunette asked.

"Tell us what?" Margaret now removed his hand from her shoulder, as Anne and Jerry remained silent, watching the trio with all their attention. "Nothing, Lily's just messing around." Gilbert assured, but Lily sat straight on the couch, shooting Gilbert a look from the opposite side of the small table that was placed in the middle of the room.

"Why didn't you tell them?" Lily pried, "You said you would." she pursed her lips.

"Tell us what?" Margaret repeated as she turned her head in between Lily and Gilbert. "I didn't tell them because it's still not a hundred percent certain." Gilbert sighed, "Besides, it's not like-"

"But you signed the papers and all." Lily continued further, causing Margaret to let out a groan before she stood up from where she sat at the sofa, crossing her arms in front of her chest as she demanded an answer. "Will you tell me what's going on already?" she shouted, watching as Gilbert shot another glare in Lily's direction before letting out another sigh.
