Midterms were in a week and Sophie was doing anything but studying. She knew she should be but she just couldn't concentrate. Well she actually couldn't stop concentrating on someone in particular.
She pacing her room and memorized the paragraph she had written. The paragraph where she told Keefe how she felt. She didn't trust herself enough to make up something on the spot.
"I just figured it out a few days ago but Keefe I really like you-" she was interrupted by high pitched laughing coming from the other side of her bedroom door. "Sandor..." when he opened the door she tried for a scowl but given his smile it probably didn't look like one so she gave up on scowling.
"Why were you laughing?" she asked.
"I just figured it out a few days ago?" Sandor burst out laughing.
"What about that?"
"A few days ago?"
"Yah..." she didn't like where this was going. He laughed some more.
"Sophie everyone knew you liked him." she turned beet red.
"Does he..." she stammered out.
"No, luckily for you he's just as oblivious as you are." Sophie was dumbfounded.
"What does that mean?" Sandor just laughed and left the room. Sophie sighed and flopped on her bed. Was she really the last one to know? Instead of dwelling on it she rolled over and tried to read on of her textbooks.

Fitz regretted his decision. He hated how things had ended with Sophie. She had been so hurt. He needed to fix this. He'd tell her at midterms, so she could have some space till then. Midterms. He could do it that.

Studying was to no avail. Sophie just couldn't concentrate. To be more specific she couldn't stop concentrating on a certain elf. One very cute elf. So that was she was on her phone watching that elve's youtube channel. He and Dex were trying- emphasize on trying- to do trick shots.
"Sophie-" Sophie gasped and jumped up. Edaline had scared her. With her headphones in she must have not heard her mom come in her room. Sophie pulled them out.
"Sorry you just startled me." she said.
"It's fine, I was just gonna tell you supper is in five minutes." Edaline explained "also shouldn't you be studying?"
"I just couldn't concentrate."
"And playing on your phone makes it all the easier."
"Sorry..."
"It's fine. I just don't think you should have your phone on you when you're supposed to be studying."
"Fine..." Sophie handed over her phone. "Here."

Keefe was not having a good day. His dad had walked in on him drawing when he was supposed to be studying. He took the whole notebook and ripped it to shreds.
Keefe had wanted to scream at cry but that would just get him into further trouble.
A bad day didn't even begin to describe it. But there was one person who constantly made him feel better. Sophie.
