Chapter 26: Taehyung

I was sitting on the floor with my legs crossed as I looked at my fingers.

It was the fourth day today, that I'd been in this room, and since my failed attempt to run away. I'd been either sleeping or sitting and staring off into nowhere.

I was waiting for Hyunseok to call me out and tell me what he wanted although now I already knew what he wanted. I'd either say no or die. I didn't want to die, but I didn't want to be trapped in this small room anymore either. And I can't do what he wants.

I looked at the lighter resting beside me. I'd tried to stop smoking, but ended up smoking at least once everyday.

I sighed and rolled my head backwards, letting the wall support my body.

Also, about personal hygiene, ha! what's that?

I've been in these same clothes for the past four days. My hair is a tangled mess. The white hoodie that I have on is now grey.

When I was close to going to sleep, the door to my room opened. Ava stood there.

"We have a little surprise for you, Sooyeon." She said and smirked as she saw my form leaning onto the wall.

"I'm pretty sure I won't like it." I replied and tried to get up.

"Go shower. Ten minutes." She said and threw some clothes on the floor.

I picked them up and I was escorted to the bathroom by Ava.

While taking the shower, I turned the water on and just stood there letting the water calm my throbbing head. I ran a hand through my wet hair.

"You don't have all day." Ava shouted from outside. I sighed as I grabbed the soap and cleaned myself.

After showering, I slipped on the clothes that Ava had given to me earlier.

I walked out of the bathroom.

"You're going to be shocked to see your lovely surprise." Ava said. She seemed as if she was enjoying a lot. Good for her.

I was dragged then. Ava had put on a blindfold on me and had put a cloth around my mouth too. I had no idea what was going on but it wasn't good for sure.

After about two minutes, I was pushed.

"Tie her up." I recognized Bora's voice.

I let them tie me. I was settled in a chair and my hands and legs were tightly tied to the hands of the chair.

"Everyone else out. Empty this floor." Bora's voice said again and I heard footsteps. The door to whichever room we were in, opened and I heard footsteps walking out.

"Ava, tell him that we're ready." Bora said.

So I think there was Bora and Ava in the room. And I think Ava went to call Hyunseok.

I guess they'll ask me right now. Whether I want to do what Hyunseok says or die. And I'll say no. Probably.

There was dead silence in the room and even the chirping of the bird was clearly audible.
