I tried to scream but a hand came up to my face.My legs were lifted off the ground.
I tried to scream again, but I couldn't. I wasn't able to breathe with the cloth over my face.
What the hell was going on?
"Hurry up." Someone said and I was carried away.
Taehyung, where are you?
I was thrown into the trunk of the car, judging by the sound of the hood opening and closing. My hands were tied. My legs were tied. There was a cloth over my face and I could see absolutely nothing.
The other doors to the car closed and I felt the car getting into motion.
I-I was getting abducted. That idea finally hit me and I started to panic. I kicked around, trying to free myself, but to no avail.
"Who are you?" I screamed.
"Shut her up." Is what I heard before a metal object, probably a rod, hit my head and I lost consciousness.
——
I could feel the cold floor below me. I felt a sharp pain on my wrists where they were tied together. The blindfold on my eyes was gone. However, I did not open my eyes.
I tried to listen to someone, something, in the background.
"If she's dead, boss will kill you." A voice said.
"You're telling me that for the millionth time now. I KNOW!" Another voice said.
"Do anything but get her up." The first voice said and then I heard a door open and close.
That 'she' is no one else but yours truly.
I then slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I did was glance at my watch on my left hand.
9pm.
All I could see was a white ceiling. I blinked a lot of times, adjusting to the lighting. It felt like my eyes had been close for a long time.
"Hey, hey! She's awake!" Someone shouted from the corner of the room and I looked up.
The room I was in was white. Totally white. White walls, white ceiling and white floor. The voices came through a speaker at the far end corner of the room. There was a transparent window on the wall opposite to me, and there stood a man. He wore a mask, but his eyes stared straight at me.
Then I saw the other small room open, the one where the man stood, and a woman entered.
"Can she hear me?" She asked as she looked at me.
"Yes ma'am." The other guy replied.
"Sooyeon Lee. It's good to see you. I've only heard about you, but it's a privilege to see you here today." She said and smiled.
Who the heck is this lady? And why is she talking to me like we're in an American murder series? Am I getting killed?
And the thing to be noted. She knew my full name. My real full name.
"You might be wondering what's happening right now and who I am. Am I right?" When I didn't reply, she continued.
"I can't tell you anything right now, except that you're going to be our guest for quite some time now. So please make yourself comfortable." She said and turned away to walk out of the door.
Up until now, I had been trying to take in the scenario around me. But again, I finally got to my senses and stood up. My mistake I did that, because as soon as I stood up, I screamed out in pain. My left thigh hurt. I looked down at myself.
