Chapter 30: A near death experience. Again

Jimin's POV:

We all listened carefully as Jungkook told us about Maia.

I hardly remembered the girl. But when he told us about the first time we met at our friend's birthday party that's when I remembered the tanned chick.

Apparently, Jungkook was dating Maia and it was hard to digest as Jungkook wasn't the kind to date. Like yes ofcourse he was young, but he wasn't the dating type. He hardly dates girls, and when he does he makes sure that it's serious. He didn't fuck around. The fuckboy of the group was Namjoon.

But turns out that he really likes Maia and the feeling is mutual, he says.

"She was the one who asked me for a date." Jungkook said and I frowned.

Not to be stereotypical, but this was definitely a little fishy.

"We've been out a lot of times and she's really sweet. Isn't the girly kind." He said as he leaned in and took a sip of his beer.

Yoongi was asleep on Hoseok's shoulder and I didn't wait to click a picture so that I can use it as a bait the next time we fight.

I wondered what was going on on the upper floor. They'd probably be sitting and talking. Neil is a nice guy. I just wanted him to befriend Sooyeon and maybe she'll like him in that way? She needs to get over whatever shit happened between Taehyung and her.

Its been months since I last saw him. No text, no calls, no messages at all.

He'd left.

He did this often when he was called by his dad but this time it'd been too long for it to be that reason.

I'd tried asking Sooyeon, but after looking at how she reacted, it was best to just let it be.

You may call me a bad friend for not looking for Taehyung, but what can I do? Go to the police station? And tell them what? That a 23 year old guy ran away from his home? He's a legal adult and can do whatever he wants.

I could go looking for him myself but I wont. Because why should I? He left for a reason and that's none of my business to butt in.

But I miss him. I never actually realised how close we were until now, when he's gone. We've been together for about a decade.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Ruhi shook my shoulder. I smiled at her instantly.

She was the sweetest. Really. She really made sure that everyone was okay. Even if anyone was a little down, she'd notice right away. I was more than happy and lucky to date her.

"I wonder what they're doing." She said as she looked at the stairs.

Namjoon, Yoongi and Jin were asleep. Jungkook was busy flicking channels on the television and Hoseok was scrolling through his phone.

I got up to wake them up. It was too late to drive back home so I'd rather have them sleep here.

"Imma leave." Jungkook said as he turned off the tv.

"Yeah me too. Let these three sleep here." Hoseok said.

"Y'all sure? You can sleep here. I have room for all of you." I said.

"Nah I need to meet Maia tomorrow morning." Jungkook said as he got up.

"Yeah I'll go too." Hoseok said and I nodded at them.
