This morning when I woke up, I got a call from the restaurant saying that it'll remain closed for the next month or so as it's being shifted to a new neighbourhood. The new location is five more minutes away.
So now I'm jobless for a month. I have enough savings that can easily get me through the month but that's not the problem. Staying home is the problem. I'll drive myself crazy if I say home 24/7.
Right now I'm on my couch still in my pajamas when I get a call from Hyejin.
"Hey, did you hear the news?" She asks
"Yeah, I did. I don't know what I'll do for a month. I don't wanna stay home all the time."
"Oh good thing you told me. I have a job offer. My aunt is a teacher in Seoul High school and she asked me if I can work part time there just to check the papers and be like a substitute because the students have their exams scheduled later this month. Are you interested?"
A teacher? I don't know. I mean I don't have to teach I just have to go check papers and help around. At least it's better than staying home all day.
"Yes, I'm interested. I'll do it." I tell Hyejin
"Great! I'll text you my aunt's phone number so that you can talk to her."
"Okay thanks. But why don't you wanna do a job?" I ask her
"Oh actually, we got a month off so Soo Hoo is taking me to his parents's place in Busan. We're also planning to go for a little holiday after that." I can make out that she's blushing hard.
"Aw! That's great. Have a great time together!"
"Thanks sooyeonnie! Bye."

She texts me her aunt's number then and I call her. She tells me that I won't have to do any teaching. I'll have to be there during the school hours and help around. Easy right?
I'm now wondering what to do today. I already did the grocery shopping so I have everything home. I think of going to the gym again but then I drop the idea. I'm too lazy.
I haven't shopped in a long while. Hmm, sounds good. I rush to my bedroom and get changed, grab my wallet and get ready.
It's 12pm. The mall's pretty far away. The only bus stop near the mall is still 2kms away from it. There's no use in taking the bus. And I can't walk there, obviously. That leaves me with only one option.
I look at the key holder and there they hang. Perfectly untouched for a long long time. My car keys. Yeah, I have a car, but I don't drive. I'm not so comfortable driving on the streets.
But today I don't have any other choice so I grab my car keys and head to the basement.
It takes me twenty minutes to clean the car. It was covered in dust entirely. After cleaning it I get in and carefully start to drive.
I have the gps on and I follow accordingly. I reach the mall after a long ride.
I park the car in the basement and go to the clothes section.
It's been a long time since I shopped. I start roaming around the shop. I have to say that the shop has a pretty good collection.
I'm trying on new dresses and shorts in the changing room, when I hear a squeal from the next stall.
I immediately walk out of my changing stall. There's a girl standing there and she's pointing to the short mini skirt that she's wearing. She's still squealing and whining. And then I see him outside the stall looking at the girl with bored and tired eyes.
