Prologue:

Try waking up to a whole new world. A crazy world where your vision is so sharp that you can see every speck of dust and light, floating in the air. A world where you can hear the soft padding of a deer's hooves in the forest, miles away.

A world where your blood has frozen over, leaving you cold and lifeless, but stronger, faster. More... You. It's almost like you had been born to be this new you.

But this isn't what a human is meant to be. This is wrong, immortal, murderous.

I'd like to warn you that the first chapter is not at all pleasant. I didn't enjoy writing it either, but it is absolutely the most important chapter in the book.

So yeah, it's not that great, but it's necessary.
