Taehyung's POV

"Hyung?" 

Seokjin was startled by my voice but he decides to ignored it, continuing to stare deeply into nothing. 

"Hyung. I know what you've seen, but I swear it's not what it looks like. I'm sorry, hyung. Forgive me, please?" I walked closer towards him. 

"Hyung?" I placed my hand on his shoulder, only to be swatted away by him as he got up from the grass, walking past me. 

"Hyung! Where are you going? I really am sorry. I should've told you that J-" 

"Stop it, Taehyung!" I was taken aback by his sudden raise of voice, causing both of us to stop in our tracks.

In this serene open field, there are few people around, with beautiful flowers enveloping the area and the green grass meticulously trimmed and soft. Hoseok mentioned that Seokjin hyung frequents this spot when he needs time alone and maybe some time to think and clear his mind. 

"I'm tired of being played, Taehyung. I'm not freaking game, nor a freaking ball to be tossed around, for fuck's sake! Why do you have to make me feel this way? You know how hard I try to stop loving." 

"I know. I'm sorry. I really am. Please, I really-" 

"I'm falling for you, Taehyung. Don't play with my heart. It's already broken, and I don't need it to be fully damaged," I could see the tears in Jin's eyes, but I didn't grasp what he meant. 

"What? What are you saying?"

"If you have someone else you love, please tell me in advance. If you're dating someone else, don't hide it from me. You will hurt me even more than I already am, Taehyung!" He clenched his hands into fists, trying his best to hold back tears. 

"I don't get it." 

"Why?! Are you just playing with my heart, pretending to love me out of pity? I don't need your sympathy! I'll be totally fine rather than to be shattered into billions of pieces again. That shit hurts, Tae!" 

I'm at a loss for words. I truly don't get what he's saying. 

"I..." 

"You have a boyfriend, don't you? Are you cheating on him? Why are you pursuing me? Why does it all feel so genuine? Why, Taehyung, why?"

"I don't have a boyfriend, hyung. That's J-"

"Nonsense! If he's not, then why does he hold your hand so lovingly while you seem indifferent? Why did you order the couple set? Are you going to lie to me more you have already did?" 

"I really don't get what you're saying, hyung! I thought you were mad because of J-" 

"I'm not mad! I'm incredibly disappointed. I feel like I'm at the core of the Earth, too foolish for falling for you! I shouldn't have brought Hobi to the cafe when I knew you were on a date with someone who isn't me!" He was about to walk away again, but I immediately pulled him back to face me. 

"Tell me what you saw." 

"You know exactly what I saw." 

"Please, just tell me. I want to know where the misunderstanding lies."

FLASHBACK (JIN'S POV)

"Urgh. You said you wanted to go to the amusement park, why should we go to the cafe when there are thousands of food options at the park!""

"I'm craving coffee, and besides, the cafe is on the way to the amusement park, so why not stop by? Let's go!" I tug Hobi along so he won't whine further.
