Author's POV

Sighs he lets out ever since they gather again at the meeting table.

"Spill," Said Yoongi as he sips from a bottle he brought along with him.

"I never really care about appa's whereabouts or what he's doing. Or maybe it's not that. Maybe I just ignore the fact that I actually know what he's up to."

"And what is he up to?"

Taehyung sighs again for the hundredth.

"Well.. It all started when I was back still working at the hotel. All innocent. Not involved with Jeondam yet. Still craving to find out about my mother's disappearance. So.."

They all have their ears and eyes on Taehyung. Anticipating his stories as he goes on talking.

FLASHBACK [TAEHYUNG'S POV]

It was a normal day after my shift, I got out of work at 5 in the evening. Worry bout nothing at all. Or so I thought. Humming through the city with a little- Okay jokes aside babe. Humming along with the tune in my head on the path walk.

I decided to walk on that day since it's a beautiful season, which is spring, to have a walk. The seasons are different tints which screams art, I really enjoy them.

Thought I had nothing to fear as my steps grew further away from the hotel, half way closer to where my apartment was.

Later, I manage to feel as if someone is following me. I actually felt that for at least a few months. It gave me the creep. Being ignorant, I proceeded my steps but the fact that I felt really uneasy, one day I was strong-willed to scan my surroundings.

My instinct was dead right.

I didn't know whether the person who followed me noticed that I noticed him tailing. He hid behind a wall of a nearby building. I picked up my pace although it didn't stop there.

Once again, I heard rustles of dead leaves on the ground, hinting that I'm still being followed.

I stopped to turn and look back again. Once again the person was too late to actually hide himself from my sight because once again I caught him hiding behind another building's wall.

That was when I knew I should run for my life and hide somewhere at the moment.

I had a plan.

I did as I wanted to. I ran towards somewhere he couldn't find me. Fast. Before he actually caught up. What I did was a success because when I hid behind bushes, he seemed to look around, scratching his head as he failed to look for me. I kept my head low, kept my eyes on him.

I waited till he actually did a U-turn and that was when the tables turned, it was my turn to trail after him.

Carefully, I tailed. Made sure my existence is unnoticed.

Slowly but surely, I followed him and when he stopped, he stood by a black car, the window unwind. Still, I kept myself low, I had my ears and eyes on the person.

"I lost him," I heard the person who followed me talk.

Soon after, I heard a slap. The other voice then answered, "You fool! I told you to keep up! Till when are you gonna freaking let that kid slip off your hands? Do you wanna die for him instead?"

"N-no sir."

"Then get your work done right! I want him killed by this week or this month. If you fail to do so, I'll make sure you won't get any source of income. Your family would be beggars by the street."
