Someone's POV

"Sir. There's an update on her. It is said that she's still alive and in disguise. She's somewhere out there." 

The news shattered the silence of my office as I hurled my glass of wine across the room, the shards echoing my fury. 

"I thought he killed her! Fuck! I shouldn't have trusted him. Fucking shit!" 

Impossible. Yet, somehow, possible. 

She was cunning. I should have known, should have been more prepared. 

"Find more information on that bitch before she goes around spreading her secrets. If you find her, bring her to me. I'll finish her myself." 

"Yes, sir. We will report for duty immediately." 

I never expected my return to be met with such a devastating revelation.

Author's POV

"Are we just going to stand by and watch? Look at him. Teddy is going through his first heartbreak. I can barely bear to see him like this. He even looks heartbroken in his sleep." 

"I know, but how? How are we supposed to meddle in someone else's relationship?" 

Jimin got up from the couch where Taehyung was currently sleeping.Yoongi had brought him to his office as Tae continued to grieve and shed tears until exhaustion finally claimed him, sending him into a troubled sleep. 

Jimin stands beside Yoongi, and the elder wraps his arm around the younger's waist, both watching Tae sleeping as if he were their own child. 

"But hyung. Jin hyung managed to mend our broken bond. Why can't we do the same for them?" 

Yoongi leans down and kisses Jimin's head. 

"That's different, babe. Our problem was relatively simple to resolve, not as deep-seated as theirs. What's going on between them is like the entire world revolves around it. It's a delicate situation. If we intervene, we could easily get lost and create more problems that are even harder to manage." 

"You have a point there," Jimin sighs. 

"But still. Taehyung is going through this for the first time. We should be there for him if he needs someone. The pain of going through this alone is unbearable."

"That's just how it is. Some things never change. It's a challenge we all have to face. Nothing comes easy. Even the alphabet was a struggle when we first learned it, but somehow we managed to catch up and master it because we learn from our mistakes, study to understand more, examine to polish our skills. And all of that takes time. One step at a time." 

The younger chuckles softly, "Wise words, hyung. One of the reasons why I love you." Jimin plants a kiss on Yoongi's lips. 

"If you still want to help them with this, I think it's best we both talk to them privately. I'll chat with Tae and you with Jin." 

"Why can't I take Tae?" 

"Excuse me? Care to explain your sentence?" 

Jimin laughs, "I want Tae," then he sticks his tongue out at Yoongi before escaping from the elder's grasp.

As Yoongi and I agreed to talk things out with both Tae and Jin, I set out to find Jin. Wherever he might be.
