Author's POV

It's already 9 hours into darkness. In spite of that, Jin still rushes back to his room making sure no one is around him with the intention of making a phone call to Banghock.

He's just hoping that someone would at least pick up the call at such a late hour. He can't sit still whilst having the key of his grandfather's company gone and stolen by someone unknown.

"Pick up. Pick up."

"Agent Park from Banghock speaking. How can I help you?"

"Jimin! Jin hyung here!"

"Connection error. Hello? Hello? I can't hear you. Hello?"

"Yah! There's no time to joke around this is urgent. This is serious."

"Woah there, hyung. Calm down. What seems to be the problem at this late hour?"

"I don't know where to start but.. Let's just say someone stole the keys to my grandpa's company. It was at Jeondam but the company got broken into. It is said that the keys are lost. Here I am in Jeju at the edge of the cliff, not knowing what to do! I need your help Jimin, please." He plead

"Okay Jin hyung. I think it's best you settle down and let us here do the job. I don't think it'll be any far so we'll do our very best to find it as soon as possible. Plus, we're pros, have I boasted to you yet?" Jimin chuckled.

A sigh of relief was let out by Jin as his panic slowly comes to a neutral, "I don't know what I could do without you guys. Thank you so much, Jimin. And also to everyone who's involved in this bullshit. Why's life so complicated?"

"It is our duty, hyung. Obviously as friends too so don't worry much. We'll handle it like fine wine," Jimin answered. Soon after, he asked a question which Jin failed and didn't have the will to avoid anymore.

"Say.. How do you know about all this hyung?"

To let out another sigh, Jin has no choice but to answer him truthfully.

"I.. Well.. I met.. I met Jungkook here in Jeju."

"Hyung, you-"

"No, Jimin.. Listen.." He cut off Jimin before the other could say anything more. Misunderstandings should not happen at this moment.

" Let's cut this short. You see.. I actually met him on the day I landed here in Jeju. We didn't actually bump into each other or something but he was following me. He tried catching up to say something but he somehow failed because I blocked him to do so. He chased after me also just to return my phone which I carelessly placed in the plane's washroom.

Everything happened so fast. I got to talk out our problems and had a proper breakup. I learned that he is faking all his illness and such just to get revenge. Stupid of him but hey.. People can change and I'm hoping that he's actually changing. We are friends now so I guess I'm fine?

He told me about the gem. He wanted to return it to me and asked Eunwoo hyung who's in Seoul to hand it over to you guys only to find out Jeondam was broken in and the key is nowhere to be found. If you think I trust Jungkook too easily, well I don't think I am because I doubt him earlier but after he convinced me Eunwoo hyung who reported it, then I guess I'm trusting Eunwoo hyung instead of Jungkook in this situation."

"Shocking news. Speechless. Not really. I'm just hoping you don't trust people too much or too easily or you'll end up being the one who's hurting and in trouble. I don't know about you being friends with Jungkook anew after what he put you through but I guess it's not my place to question someone's choice. I'll just support and protect you from behind."
