We have practice today for the Pageant. Kanina ko lang nakita kung sino ang makakapartner ko dahil sa name tag na binibigay. And my partner is no other than
"Storm" I whispered when I saw him entering the Gym.
Lumapit siya saakin at tinabihan ako sa upuan malapit sa stage. I smiled at him but he didn't respond.
I was about to talk to him but the instructor is now on stage to give reminders.
Sige, mamaya. Kakausapin kita, Storm.
Natapos ang practice namin. Choreography lang para sa entrance ang na practice. Wala ding chance na makausap ko si Storm dahil hiwalay ang entrance ng babae sakanila.
"Storm!" I shouted when he was about to enter his car. Buti na lang lumingon siya.
"Can we talk?" I glued my eyes on him, hoping that he'd say yes.
"Sure." He just answered me seriously like he doesn't care at all.
Nandito kami ngayon sa Travel Café sa harap ng University. I just ordered 2 creamy iced coffee and 2 slices of cake.
"Uhm. Storm. A-" I'm stuttering because of nervousness.
"Aria. I know. But you can't force me not to like you. Sorry about ignoring you during our practice. I was just angry at myself because of what happened last time" he was pertaining about the kiss when we were playing truth or dare.
"Huwag ka lang niyang saktan, Aria. Dahil kung hindi, aagawin kita sakanya" unti-unting ngumiti si Storm at hinawakan niya ang kamay ko.
I couldn't tell him anything to comfort him. So, I smiled at him.
"Hon. San ka? Nasa labas ako ng 2nd gate. Date tayo." I was about to text him too, naunahan niya lang ako.
Masyadong sweet si Noelle. I told him last night about my plans sa paghahanap sa tatay ko and the only thing he said to me was that "I will always support you Cassiopeia, you know that right? But please don't make a decision especilly about that without asking tita france. Masasaktan siya kapag nalaman niyang itatago mo yun sakanya."
Later, I will tell my mom about it. Sobrang pinapanalangin ko na hindi magagalit si nanay sa sasabihin ko mamaya.
"San tayo punta?" Sitting beside him in the passenger seat.
"You'll see" ngumiti lang siya while driving.
Ano na naman kayang pakulo nito.
"Nagugutom ako hon. Can we at least have a stop over sa moderna? Gusto ko kumain ng pancit" nag ccrave talaga ako ng pancit chami tapos may lechon na toppings nakakapanglaway. Ang tagal ko ng hindi iyon natitikman.
"Are you sure? Mag gagabi na. Ayaw mo ba mag rice meal?" Nasa may centro naman kami ngayon so madadaanan namin iyon.
"Super sure hon! Please?" I even pouted my lips making sure that he'd agree.
"Okay"
Nakakaloka si Noelle. Isang medium na bilao ang binili niya. Mauubos ko kaya iyon? I mean namin?
