A compromising position

Maya watched Riley through the bay window, completely oblivious to the harsh reality the world has to offer her. Riley could only see the good in the world. Maya wanted it to stay that way for as long as possible.

Riley seemingly had a perfect life. She had a family who was there for her, people she could rely on.

Maya often sat to watch Riley for a few seconds before climbing in through the window.

"Peaches! You're here, finally. I told the guys we were on our way ten minutes ago so we have to hurry up."

"Um.. Riles, don't ya think it would've been a good idea to get out of bed then?" Maya laughed at her clueless friend.

Maya sat on the bay window in shock at how quickly Riley got ready, zooming around her room like someone had clicked her fast forward button.

They were out the window in 10 minutes, headed to their beloved bakery.

Once they had arrived, they noticed Lucas, Farkle and Zay all standing at the door waiting for them. They looked worried, and very suspicious.

"Hey losers, what ya doing outside?" Maya asked. She turned to look inside of the bakery but was stopped when Farkle grabbed her, putting one hand on her face and pushing her up against the wall of the bakery.

The position they were now in was not a part of Farkle's plan. He hadn't really thought this through. As Maya was stuck in her new-found position, Farkle was peeking through the top of the window. Maya didn't know what for, she was zoning out.

Maya could only think of where his hands lay on her body, one on her cheek and the other on her forearm grazing her waist.

Maya stopped breathing for a second. Not because of lack of air, but more because of the compromising position. Farkle needed to stop her from looking inside of the cafe and get her away from it as fast as possible, this was somehow his first idea of how to do so.

Before anyone could say anything, Farkle let Maya go and grabbed her hand pulling her back up the stairs outside of Topanga's. Maya didn't get a chance to ask him what he was doing - her mind was still thinking of being pushed against the wall, thinking truly sinful thoughts.

What the hell, Maya. Get your head out of the gutter! She thought.

The others were so shocked that they were still standing in their original positions, frozen.

Maya and Farkle had only made it halfway up the stairs before Maya heard a voice which snapped her back to her harsh reality. A voice which she hadn't heard in a long time.
