He tried his best to not look at her, he knew she could see straight through him. Maya didn't know why he lied to them but she could tell that something was bothering him, so instead of being angry she became sympathetic."Farkle," she took a breath, "I don't know what's going on with you. But I know that you missed a test today and you never do that unless it's bad. Whatever it is, I won't let you face it alone."
He scoffed, "You think I don't know that? You and Riley have enough problems already. I know that I missed a test. I know that all you want to do is be annoyed at me for not telling you, but that's not your choice, Maya." This time it was Farkle walking towards her. Maya took a few steps back, both confused and worried.
Farkle continued. "I know what I'm going through, Maya. I know how to deal with it and I know that you can't help me. This is my problem, not yours." He spat his words like venom. She'd never seen Farkle like this before. He must have been really hurting to act like this.
He looked her in the eyes as if searching for something, then he turned to walk away.
"Oh no, no no no. you do not get to talk to me like that when I'm giving you my weekly allowance of being nice." Maya grabbed his arm to turn him around.
"Maya.." He said almost pleadingly. His hands were visibly shaking now and he became dizzy. Farkle knew he had to eat something now but Maya wouldn't let him go.
"Maya?"
And then it all went black. The last thing he saw was Maya's face, she was terrified

So we've established by now that you probably hate me for making Farkle get angry at Maya and for how short the chapters are but whoopy doo.
